Celia was born for ballet and by age 14 was studying at the Royal Ballet School in London. Even a serious injury and a shortage of funds haven’t stood in the way of Celia chasing her ballerina dreams. She works three jobs — as a cocktail waitress, hostess and dog walker — just to support herself while auditioning for her big break. And Celia’s childhood was anything but conventional: Her parents split due to her mom’s mental illness; she was raised solely by her gay father, Silvano, and his recently deceased partner. Celia’s dad has always been her biggest fan, and vice versa. These two will work hard at every turn not to let each other down.
