Matt and his team — including his wife, Tamsen Fadal, and associate, Eddie Varley — attempt to expertly pair soul-mate-seeking singles who are unable to find a partner through old-fashioned methods like hitting the singles bars, online dating and going on blind dates arranged by friends. Whats the deal LifeTime! Why do you keep canceling good shows?? I don't know anybody that did not like Matched in Manhattan!! That show was a hit!!!!!!!!! Put it back on!!
I Can't believe this! First I read that A and E has cancelled Confessions of a Matchmaker, and now it appears Lifetime has cancelled this show? Both these shows involve 'regular' people.. Please don't tell me the only matchmaker show left will be Millionaire Matchmaker on Bravo!!! Come on - Lifetime had a great pairing of this one with Look Good Naked, does anyone at the station even READ these boards???
When is the show coming back on the air? I hope they don't axe it like they have been doing to the other lifetime shows... It is a cool show, I take advice from it :-)
Dear Matt
My mother 49 years old and recently getting back into the dating world. We have convinced her to try online dating, but I am not so sure about that. Also, she seem to be obsessed with how men look and the men who are younger than me are the ones who are ususally interested in men.

Do you have anything that will help her with online dating or a way to make her profile better?

Thank you
One criticism: more hot women! Millionaire Matchmaker looks like Fred Gwynn unlike handsome men on 'Matched', but, even average women (those who are watching this genre)want to see beautiful women, not average, weak (I can't find someone to love me!)little wimps they can see in the mirror.
R U KIDDING ME?
Hi everybody. These comments are great. I had a blast working on the show. I was on Episode five. I have to say that Matt is the real deal. I'm a big fan. He's very entertaining and isn't that what TV is all about. If you have have a problem there are many self help books you can buy. All of his methods are proven to work. Especially in NYC where there is 8 million people. You can meet the love of your life just walking down the street. You just have to give them a Jerry Cherry flyer and strike up a conversation.
Hi Matt, I love your show. Do you have an office in Chicago by any chance?
All i have to say is that Matt Titus did so much to help my dating life! He showed the male perspective on everything from what men respond to regarding flirting, fashion, first date does and don'ts and truly how to get guys to committ. It was one of the most useful services that i have participated in! This guy is straight from the hip and no bull. Thank you Lifetime for putting this guy on TV so other people could find out about him,
I was excited that the show was on. It provided some good insight and balanced perspective. Personally I have not met the matched in Manhattan people, but saw the advertisements about the show. I enjoyed the first few espisodes and liked the marathon. I think its time to move on from this discussion and focus on the real issue. There are women and men out there that are unhappy with their life and they need help from a professional. If they chose not to follow that advice or help then it is their own fault. I think the service that is provided by the matched folks seems necessary and if I am in need of such services I would look into contacting them.
Dear Matt-
I am a 26 year old woman who has been in a relationship for about 2 years. My boyfriend is great, except he refuses to discuss anything about marriage, kids, even just a long term committment. I have tried to bring it up ina subtle way several times but he doesn't pay attention or he changes the subject. His parents love me, my mother loves him and we never ever fight.

Am i wasting my time with him or is he is just not interested in being married? he works long hours and is trying to change careers, but this has been going on a long time.

Wondering what to do? The idea of going online and dating is just too painful for me to even think about i have been in a relationship for a long time.
These coments are AHHHmazing! The show is so dull and ineffective that comments on such an extreme level (pro and con)don't make any sense. It's like fighting over the merits of an episode of "small wonder". You should all stop by my website where the real drama takes place: broadwayworld.com!
HELLO EVERYONE...
I AM A NEW YORKER TO THE CORE AND I AM SO HAPPY FOR MATT TITUS AND HIS TEAM.

I HAVE PERSONALLY WORKED WITH MATT TO IMPROVE MY ONLINE DATING PROFILE AND I CANT BEGIN TO TELL YOU HOW MUCH IT HAS HELPED MY DATING LIFE. I HAVE A NEW PHOTO AND A GREAT DESRIPTION OF MYSELF, BUT NOT TOO MUCH INFORMATION.

EDDIE IS A CARD. HE IS SO FUNNY IN PERSON. I MET HIM AND MATT ONE DAY FOR COFFEE AND HE WAS CRACKING ME UP THE WHOLE TIME. HE IS ALWAYS THERE TO MAKE SURE THAT MATT STAYS ON SCHEDULE AND MAKE THE CLIENTS REALLY FEEL GOOD.

TAMSEN IS VERY SWEET, IN FACT, SHE IS DOWN TO EARTH TOO. WHEN I FIRST MET HER, I WAS NOT SURE IF SHE WAS GOING TO BE NICE BECAUSE SHE IS PRETTY SO I ASSUMED SHE WOULD BE STUCK UP, I COULD NOT HAVE BEEN MORE WRONG. IN FACT, SHE GAVE ME THE NAME OF HER HAIR DRESSER AND EVEN HELPED ME FIND A NEW STYLE FOR MY HAIR.

FINALLY, MATT'S SKILL AND KINDNESS GOES WITHOUT SAYING. I MUST ADMIT, I WAS SCARED TO DEATH TO GET BACK OUT IN THE DATING WORLD AFTER MY LONG TIME RELATIONSHIP ENDED. I MET MATT AT A RESTAURANT IN MIDTOWN, GOT TO TALKING AND FINALLY WORKED UP THE COURAGE TO CALL HIM AFTER ABOUT 6 MONTHS.

I JUST WANT TO SAY FROM PERSOANAL EXPERIENCE, IT HAS BEEN GREAT.

LIFETIME, YOU ARE A QUALITY NETWORK AND I DO APPRECIATE THAT YOU CARE ABOUT WOMEN AND NOT FLASHY, SILLY THINGS.

I LOVE THE PROGRAMS AND I THINK THAT YOU ARE HELPING WOMEN ALL OVER THE WORLD WITH THE TV SHOWS THAT YOU PUT ON.

-A VERY LOYAL LIFETIME FAN.
i dont live in new york city, but i do love this show. i am wondering if someone can get this comment to matt titus and his team. by the way i want to say that i love their dogs. that is hilarious. are the dogs really in the office? i am a dog lover and thought that was a great touch.

but, my real question is, does anyone know of a good matchmaker in texas. yes, i am dallas girl and while there are plenty of men here in texas, i am a little order and looking for a man who is not looking for children and wants me just the way that i am.

i have been divorced for five years and i have two grown children so meeting men is not easy. i would move to new york to work with matt, but cant take the cold weather-just joking.
if you have any advice or can get this question to matt i would appreciate the help. i am single in texas and would really like to meet a nice man to spend time with.

-tory [a lifetime lover from long ago]
I AM WRITING TO HELP OUT THE LADY WHO HAS JUST MOVED TO NYC.

YES! YOU CAN MEET MEN IN NEW YORK CITY.

HERE IS MY PERSONAL LIST OF DOS AND DONTS:
1. DO HAVE CONFIDENCE
2. DO HAVE A CAREER OR AT LEAST MAKE SURE YOU ARE BUSY ADN DONT HAVE TO RELY ON A MAN
3. DONT LET A NEW YORK MAN THINK THAT YOU ARE AFTER MONEY, HE WILL DUMP YOU IN A HEARTBEAT
4. DO GO TO THE DOG RUNS, BUT YOU HAVE TO TALK TO THE GUYS AND FIND A WAY TO APPROACH THEM
5. DONT ALWAYS GO OUT WITH GIRLFRIENDS, JUST LIMITE THE GROUP TO 2 OR 3, I HAVE TALKED TO MY BROTHER ABOUT THIS IN LENGTH AND HE SAYS MEN HATE GOING UP TO A GROUP OF WOMEN BECAUSE THEY FEEL WEIRD.
6. THERE ARE FEW RESTARUANTS THAT HAVE GREAT HAPPY HOURS, BUT I DONT RECOMMEND BARS: THE RESTARURANTS INCLUDE HOUSTONS, SMITH AND WOLENSKY AND ESPECIALLY THE MANDARIN ORIENTAL BAR. IT IS HOPPING WITH MEN ON WEDNESDAY AND THURSDAY NIGHTS.

I HOPE THIS HELPS YOU FIND THE MAN OF YOUR DREAMS.

AND THANK YOU LIFETIME, I LOVE CARSON, MATT AND THE PARTY PLANNERS WHO ARE HILARIOUS, ESPECIALLY WHEN THEY WERE DECORATING THE LADIES HOUSE WHO LOVED HALLOWEEN.
YOUR BIGGEST FAN
I thoroughly enjoyed all of the episodes of Matched in Manhattan.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The Titus Team was soooooo adorable. Matt seems to really care about his clients. I mean going to a trapeze school and making Kristine fly threw the air WOW. I loved the Super Market surveilannce tooo!! The advice was given from a real caring perspective. I would do anything to be able to learn from a guy like this!! Thank you Lifetime
also, i would like thank the young woman who is a sports annnouncer.
i think you are great and i give you a lot of credit for goign on tv and being willing to listen and learn.
I JUST READ MATTS BOOK. I HAVE TO SAY THAT HE PROVIDES SOME OF THE GREATEST INSIGHTS INTO MEN THAT I HAVE EVER HEARD. THE ADVICE IS GIVEN IN A REAL CARING AND CONCERNED WAY. HE AND TAMSEN MAKE IT FUN AND EXTREMELY INFORMATIVE. THIS BOOK HAS A CHAPTER TELLING THE READER WHERE THE BOYS ARE, SO IT MIGHT HELP THE GIRL WHO JUST RECENTLY MOVED TO NYC.
