Unfortunately, Lifetime Tv has turned into Trashtime Tv. As of October 27, even Frasier is gone from the am lineup. I, for one, though I know I am not alone, have not tuned in to Lifetime AT ALL since the beginning of September. I even quit Army Wives, which I thought was a show with merit - their ONLY show with merit. I check into the website just to see if anything has changed. It has not. I hope I do not miss the headline on yahoo one day soon that reports "lifetime network is finished".

I am 16 years old and a junior in High School. I LOVE Golden Girls! This show is my basis to life. The fact that you are taking it off the air is EXTREMELY upsetting! I think we should all petition to keep our girls on the air. They are in no way, shape, or form going out of style.

I am only 17 and still in high school. Unlike most of my peers, I can't stand reality tv and Golden Girls is my second favorite show behind I Love Lucy. I used to watch this show 3 times a day and now I can't watch it at all. I can't stay up until 1 am to watch it when I have to get up at 6 for school. I am also extremely angry at the fact that this show will be completely removed by March. Sorry Lifetime, but when this show comes off, you're losing not just me, but thousands of loyal viewers. Looks like I'm going to have to buy the DVD's instead. How pathetic Lifetime.

Yes, it is true. I just checked the lifetime calendar. Starting Oct 27 there will be only one episode of GG aired in the morning and then the ridiculous 1am and 1:30 am airings. GG used to be on twice in the am, twice in the afternoon and twice before bedtime and sometimes on weekends. The show has been removed. By March it will be completely off of Lifetime. I was astonished to see that starting Oct 27 Lifetime will be showing three hours of WifeSwap every day. Three full hours of Wifeswap and what seems like 20 episodes each of Reba and Still Standing. Isn't it peculiar that they cannot make room for any episodes of GG despite its hardcore fan base? Seems punitive to me.

Please put the Golden Girls back on at 3PM CST. Who cares about Wife Swap (or whatever it is). And bring back The Nanny. I can't believe y'all took that off!

Yes, all seven years of the GG are on DVD. You can order them online or buy them at most stores.

It looks as though Lifetime is trying to take Golden Girls off the air completely. I guess it's time for me to buy the GG DVD and stop watching Lifetime. Because honestly the only reason I would watch the other shows on Lifetime is because the Golden Girls were either coming on right after a show or going off and another show was coming on. Lifetime is going to see a nice slump in viewers now that the Golden Girls have beem minimized to 1 am. In today's economic times, can you really afford to LOSE viewers, Lifetime??? Think about it.

I have to say me and my 11 month old son are very upset you are no longer showing the golden girls or the nanny! When I was pregnant I was on bed rest for three months and every morning I would watch the Nanny, Golden Girls, Frasier, and sometimes Will and Grace...but the most important of the four being the Golden Girls. I think my son was listening too because now he reacts to the Golden Girls theme song! It's a sad day when we cant watch our favorite show anymore...they dont make them like they use too thats for sure!

I hate to be brutal, but I LOVE the Golden Girls (and also the Nanny) and am just shocked that you have bumped this show to airing at one in the morning. We want the Golden Girls BACK!

I think Lifetime has completely dropped the ball by not airing the shows that personally drew me and others I know to the network in the first place. I am 23 years old and began watching when I was about 15, because of The Golden Girls and The Nanny. I have been loyal ever since, but now these shows are on between 1-2:30 AM. Seriously?! What about people who work full time? Do you think that we are going to be able to stay up all night to catch our favorite shows? These shows used to show in the morning and early evening. I shrugged when Will and Grace and Frasier came on, but some of the recent programming is just so disappointing. The Golden Girls and The Nanny are only shown on Lifetime and showing quality programming will draw viewers to tune into other shows. You air many shows that still air on local channels, and other shows that are simply in bad taste and uninteresting. Many people count on you to air the shows that drew us to Lifetime in the first place, and we will have to revert to buying them on DVD and stop watching Lifetime all together if you are going to air them only in the middle of the night. I'm fed up and thoroughly disappointed.

I really liked what you had to say and how you said it. I agree with everything you said, but I do happen to enjoy "Frasier."

I can't believe what i just read they are actually going to have 3 hours of Wife Swap beginning October 27. I think that's too much I don't know why people like that show. They are taking off the 10am Frasier too and moving the 5pm Still Standing to 8am. They are also putting the Rita Rocks show on at 9:30 replacing one Golden Girls episode and Lisa Williams show at 11:00 replacing Will & Grace. I just needed to tell everyone about this.

Thanks for the info. It ticks me off - to be polite about it. Golden Girls and Frasier are the only reason I tune into Lifetime at all. I guess after October 24 I'll no longer have a reason to tune into Lifetime.

By the way, I don't think Lifetime cares a hoot about quality.

Do shows like Wife Swap even have a following on prime time TV? If not, why put it on Lifetime then? Just because it has a woman theme doesn't mean it should be on Lifetime. It should FIRST be quality!

I think that lifetime should put golden girls back on from 3-4 p.m. instead of wife swap. I mean come on its a much better show than wife swap.

Lifetime, PLEASE O PLEASE bring the girls back in the afternoon {here in MI, they used to come on at 4}!!!! What comes on now is just trash!! I work in the a.m, so I miss the 9am showing of the girls and 1am is just too late to catch them at that hour... I'm lucky if I can catch the GG's once a week, on my day off... I miss them so much!!!
