I received an email from Peter Mohan last night that stated the DVDs will be out soon, although he had no definite date.

LIFETIME-OH NO THEY DIDN'T.....

I got an email from lifetime asking me who my vampire lover would be (it's a quiz). You have to sign in to leave a comment.

Here's the link (don't know if it will work or not). I can't believe they have the arrogance to ask....

Now would be a perfect time to tell them we haven't forgotten about Henry.

I just saw that Lifetime took Bloodties off of On Demand T.V. Does anyone know if they are planning to take down this site as well? I know there are multiple fan sites, do any have the show on them? Also, DVD? Anybody?
Thanks,
Nichole

mdalydellinges: imjustaguy is right. As has been posted here ad nauseum, Blood Ties is NOT COMING BACK.

There are however, many websites for fans. Why don't you check them out.

And I also agree with imjustaguy re: the comments should be easy to read. Let's not do what we accuse Deathtime of doing, which is not caring enough about each other to at least make the effort to be understood.

Like, IJAG said, bring on the negs.

I finally was able to have MY TURN on the computer. I can't wait for Blood Ties to start back up on t.v.
I have really missed the chemistry between Vicki and Henri; "Housewives" is good but it doesn't even come close ... Bring it back to My Time on Primetime.

Okay, just finished season 2. I've watched all 22 episodes in the last 2 days and I love this show. They HAVE to bring it back, or at least publish something that will provide a resolution to the way things ended at the end of the last episode! I understand staging a cliffhanger (way to go!), but not if the show is under the threat of cancellation. That's just not fair to the fans. Granted, I've only been a fan for two days, but I'm really, really curious about what happens; I can only imagine how someone who watched the two seasons week by week must feel about the ending. Don't get me wrong, it's a great season finale, but a horrible series finale. Bring it back! Someone, anyone. Sci-Fi has just cancelled one of my other favorite shows, Stargate Atlantis, so they should pick up this series to feed my sci-fi/ fantasy addiction. Grrrr.

Any truth to the rumors that a Canadian company will pick it up? I gotta know what happens!

imjustaguy is right. Typos happen, but there is no excuse for not trying to do your best when posting. If you intend to post please have it make sense.

as much as we appreciate you being a fan, and maybe its just me, but as little as lifetime pays attention to this board, I'm sure lifetime isn't going to take any notice to anyone who doesn't speak in complete words. Plus its common courtesy to type so people can read if you are on a public forum.
Bring on the negatives. :)

I just found Blood Ties online yesterday. I'm a huge Tudor history fan and a Sci-Fi fan, so I'm bummed that I never heard about this show until after it was already canceled! I rarely watch Lifetime because the movie of the week where the downtrodden woman stands up for herself against her oppressors and finds true love all in 2 hours isn't appealing to me. But I would start watching Lifetime if Blood Ties were on the air. I've googled the show, and it looks like there was some hope of a Canadian company picking it up... any truth to that now? Most things were dated fairly long ago. I love this show, stayed up waaaay past my bedtime last night to finish season one on Lifetime.com. Please bring it back! It was a smart, fun show! And there's a lot more that can do done with Henry's past than I saw in season one. Maybe season two has more. But so far I'm totally in love with this show! Please bring it back, and I might actually start watching your channel.

For what I know isn't going to be the last time:

Deathtime cancelled Blood Ties.

Whatever/wherever you saw that said it would be back in October, that's from last year.

Check the dates.

The only place to see Blood Ties is here or at Deathtime for Real Women.

Lifetime's message about Blood Ties starting in October was placed in summer of 2007 and was referring to October of 2007.
