All About Denise

Denise Sherwood hasn’t known much outside of Army life. Her father is from a long line of military men. Moving from base to base made forming friendships difficult for her growing up. After marrying Major Frank Sherwood, a man who always makes her feel loved and protected, the often shy and reserved woman stopped pursuing her nursing studies.

Dealing with her husband’s deployments and son Jeremy’s emotional difficulties (and his decision to enroll) has forced to Denise to find her inner strength, especially with support from other Army wives. She’s even found courage to pursue her nursing career again.

Is it true that Catherine Bell aka Denise is not coming back?? I hope she does because I want to know what happens with her and Frank still and I hope Jermery calls his mom and ask if something is wrong with her and his dad.

Jennifer101--Catherine Bell is definitely coming back to Army Wives in Season 3. She and Kim Delaney are the stars of the show. They both have purchased homes in Charleston, S.C. Right now Catherine is in Canada shooting, and co-executive producing "The Good Witch 2."

WAKE UP!!! Cheating happens. It might not happen to all, but it does happen. Just because you are in the Army doesn't mean you are some glorified person who is exempt. It does happen in the Army and I commend the writers for showing that part to. If you are going to show any part of the Amry show it all!!!!!

This is a comment to the one below. I dont know if you have been watching her husband too!!!!! There is unfaithfulness on both sides of the ocean. They are ready to move on, and if they want to nothing should be in the way of trying to find happiness again. I mean she shouldnt have kissed Getti. Well, it happened and at least she told him about it!! I commend her for that. I love Denise. She is awesome. No one person in the world is perfect and that includes the Army world. No ONE PERSON is perfect. And I think by showing this she is showing a side of the Army that no one sees. Cheating does go on, on both sides.

Your right, nobody is perfect. But my feeling is and will always be that if your love is strong, it can get through a deployment and they come back stronger. If you love your spouse, if your spouse means everthing in the world to you, its not possible, unless of course your just a ****. Not saying that to anybody inparticular, but I honestly do think that if you have to cheat while your away from each other, then you dont really love each other enough to be married

LEMME START BY SAYING THAT I LOVE DENISE, BUT...i DESPISE denise's storyline. i mean as an army wife myself, i understand that there are some tramp military wives out there that cheat on their deployed husbands, but can hollywood please not glorify it! i'd rather her be off the show than have to watch that garbage. i mean, sleeping with other men in her & her husband's bed?!? how apalling! i think that if the writers even "flirt" with the idea of doing this with any of the other wives (or husbands, Roland!) again, i'd probably quit watching. i don't even like the idea of the writers throwing in the flirtatious possibilities. that kind of scandalous, trifling behavior doesn't make me want to tune in. i loved how even the flirting was squashed quickly when the waitress at betty's tried to flirt with trevor. i guess i'm just as old fashioned as Frank! :)

ilovedenise - let me say that I have been watching the storyline and Frank has tried on other occassions to call Denise. I am not referring to the past couple shows. There were other times before this that he tried to call. He came home early because he was worried about things at home. In all fairness it takes every type of person to make the world go round, but when you have a specific belief then nothing anybody says can stray your mind from that. My beleif is that if you truly love your husband/wife and your love is strong that you dont have the need to cheat on each other. I am not glorifying myself, I know we all have issues, but in my life, I can absolutely 100% say that I am very proud to know that our love/marriage is strong enough to come through deployments being even stronger than the one before. And that it is a true internal strength and not just a surface strength that you portray to everybody around you.

lilbigkat,please let me clarify something for you in regards to your comment that "Frank has been trying to call Denise and she never answers his calls". We saw Frank call Denise ONE TIME and Denise chose not to answer it ONE TIME. So let's not take it upon yourself to pluralize it and make it more. Please pay attention to the show

Firebrand95 - I totally agree with you. As far as Frank, I dont think that is right either, but lets face it, he has been trying to call Denise and Denise never will answer any of his calls. Im sure that he is probably figuring it out by now. Its not right on either part. I do agree that army wives get the reputation for messing around while their husbands are deployed. While there are a high number that do, we are not all like that.

Umm sweetie, they weren't in Denise and Franks bed, they were at Mac's hotel. Also, let's not forget Jordanna coming out of Frank's quarters finishing dressing and Frank assisting and his son Jeremy seeing it all.

I believe she is lost and somehow she and frank will come to there senses and end up back together! I can't stand the way that the writers are trashing her Character though!!!! What the HECK are they thinking! I hope that they get enough complaints that they will fix everything and not pull anything else like this with her or any of the other main characters!!
