About The Truth About Jane

The high school years are full of angst for everyone, but to add to the confusion, Jane gets a serious crush — on a girl! The 15-year-old struggles to come to terms with her sexuality as she begins a relationship with this classmate. Things get more complicated when Jane’s lesbian relationship is exposed; her parents aren’t exactly the accepting type.

i got the same answer. my mom was totally against at first but then she got over it . so if you are scared tell then do and let them decide but if they don't like it then tell them to shove it

Very good movie---really well put together from a real teen's point of view. I can relate to this movie, because it was me a few years ago. More movies like this need to made. Let gay and lesbian teens and young adults know that they're not alone!

play it again and again here in hawaii our times vary, i saw the commercial and had my 12 yr old son and 17 year old son watch with me, I need to know when it airs again so i can tape it for my 40 yr old sister and 14 yr old lesbian niece for the seceret is killing me with my only sister who is anti!!!

I love this movie and i understand how this girl feels she dont want to tell her mom she is gay but her mom finds out and she cant lie about it no more.I know what that girl would have went through my mom is okay with gays and bisexual but it aint okay for her child to be bi.And at first i didnt want no one to know i was bi because i didnt know how they would treat me but then i couldnt handle it no more i told everyone and let them hate on me i was tired of not being me i got more friends and lost alot of good ones to but i got over it.

I really loved this movie & I think everyone should see it, especially my ex-husband that is homophobic. I honestly think that you judge a person by theair sexual prefference, that's being stupid & ignorant too! I'm very open minded & I teach my 2 kids (boy-16 & girl-17) to be the same way! I'm also my kids friend aswell as their mother. They share things with me that that thie own father will never know about. You've Just Got To Live & Let Live! :) Have a Nice Weekend Everyone!! Ciao!!

I really liked this movie for two main reasons, one is becasuse it makes you think about life people can be so critcial about who you are on the inside and so they take what you make of yoursel and twist. Two is because that girl remnds me of myself, i have a heard time trying to express myself, i am not gay but i don't really have anything against them either they are just like us. PEOPLE... HUMAN BEGINS... they live life just like us but people try to destroy what they make of themselves. i really would like to see again 2 IT RULES!!!!!

Totally love this film... great film about a 15 year old teen going to High School and meet this girl named Taylor and all of the sudden they fell in love w/ each. The part that I found so messed up is when Taylor came up to Jane's room and started making out w/ each other and her little brother sees the whole thing, and the next day her brother tells the entire school that his sister is a lesbian. I would beat him to death. Please air this film again.
