About Fab Five: The Texas Cheerleader Scandal

The true story of the boozing, bikinis and bullying of five cheerleaders, real-life "Mean Girls" who controlled the lives of their fellow students, while the school's principal (Tatum O'Neal), the mother of one of the "fab five," looked the other way. It wasn't until the girls turned their bullying tactics toward their new cheerleading coach Emma Carr (Jenna Dewan) -- who ultimately went public with girls' outrageous behavior and demanded that the girls -- and the principal (who later resigned) were held accountable for all the emotional damage they had caused.

  • I too missed this movie because I was out of town the day it aired, and for the fact that I was scavanging book stores across the country for 'BREAKING DAWN' by stephanie myer. It kind of slipped my mind for a while. However it does come on again Saturday: 23,07...soooo gonna watch it this time.

  • This movie is a direct reflection of what goes on in many public high school's around the country, mostly in higher-income areas. The bullying, harassment of teachers and staff, drinking, and fighting is all too common today. As a high school administrator, I find that much of my job focuses on shutting down groups like "The Fab Five," only to be be overturned by the school board. We all have to realize that the parents are mostly to blame in these types of situations. They are the ones who do the calling and threatening if their children are held accountable at school for their actions. Many of them threaten to get lawyers, and the students are often reinstated and their records wiped clean. Schools and school boards need to take a rigid stand against these types of behavior and hold all students accountable for their actions, regardless of social standing, reputation, or influence of parents. Public schools need backbones, as do the parents of students like these. We need to stop enabling our children and coming to their rescue when they have done wrong. More importantly, parents need to monitor their kids and raise them to be responsible and well respected youth.

  • Brooke was a complete witch. Jeri was just a catty girl that was jealous because her boyfriend dumped her and moved on to a fellow cheerleader. Grow up!

Ashley was just mad because her friends turned on her and now she got to feel what it is liked being ostacized.

Tabitha wasn't that bad at all. She was just a follower. And the redhead wasn't that bad either just a bit weird. She had a weird fascination with her teacher. Creepy ???
