May 25th marks National Missing Children’s Day, placing special attention on more than 800,000 children who go missing each year. According to FBI research, a child goes missing every 40 seconds.

"Be prepared, not scared" is the motto for the National Child Identification Program, encouraging parents to purchase special, inkless Child ID kits which provide a clean, convenient way to record fingerprints on a card they can be kept at home for easy access in case of an emergency.

In partnership with the FBI, over 30 million ID Kits have been distributed through The National Child Identification Program, created by the American Football Coaches Association as a community service initiative designed to help protect youth and change the statistics related to missing children.

This month in honor of National Missing Children’s Day, 10,000 free kits will be donated to the Black and Missing Foundation, along with a percentage of the proceeds.
