I lived in Anniston, Alabama and went to school with Carol Hilley. I remember our psycology teacher talking about Carol being so sick in the hospital and wanting her mom. Yet knowing that her mom was the one who put her there. She was even feeding her baby food laced with it. And I remember Carol coming to football games on crutches after she was finally getting better. Marie was a crazy lady, you can't make this kind of stuff up!

I just discovered Marie Hilley is kinfolk. I am so embarrassed. My sincerest condolences to all the victims.

She was also related to me. She was my Father's brother's daughter. I guess you & I are related...I'm Jimmie Sue Frazier, daughter of James Frank Frazier from Tyler, Texas

I LOVE THIS MOVIE. I REALLY LIKE THE ACTRESS, JUDITH LIGHT. IT'S ALL ABOUT MONEY, GREED, AND MURDER. I ALSO LOVE THE LIFE TIME MOVIES. I WATCH LIFE TIME EVERY DAY.

I recorded it on VHS in 1991 and would love to have it on DVD. If it is on the top 5 list, why isn't it available on DVD? (If I have missed it, please let me know). My husband’s family used to live across the street from this woman. This movie is accurately portrayed except for tiny details. My husband’s brother used to play with Marie’s son (which is not portrayed in the movie) and the fact that she did not crawl back to the house that she previously lived in to die, and her husband was not shot at the motel. All small details, to a movie. Otherwise it is accurate, especially according to Hollywood’s standards. UAB Hospital, is the only shot out of Alabama though. Would have loved to have it shot in Alabama.

This movie is really good, but that woman was so messed up! What made her want to kill her family members just for money? Other than greed?
