The Craigslist Killer True Crime Photo Gallery

On April 14, 2009, police discovered murder victim Julissa Brisman in a luxury hotel room; her head had been beaten, and she had been shot three times by her assailant. Julissa was a masseuse who had used the “erotic services” section of the Craigslist website to advertise and find clientele. The investigation led authorities to charge suspect Philip Markoff in the killing. At the time of the crime, Markoff was a 22-year-old Boston University medical student who was engaged to be married.
