Character: Mark Stenwyck
Nick Thurston is a California native from the San Francisco Bay Area. He has been acting since childhood and has trained at several prestigious schools, including the American Conservatory Theater and the British American Drama Academy in London. He recently graduated from the University of Southern California in Los Angeles with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in acting.
While abroad, he portrayed Edmund in “King Lear,” directed by Kelly Hunter. His television credits include “Ghost Whisperer” and “Cold Case” on CBS. This year, he stars in “The Truth Below” on MTV and “White Irish Drinkers,” premiering at the Toronto Film Festival. He also played Luke in 12 episodes of “The Lake,” a Web-based series from Warner Bros.
Thurston lives in Los Angeles.
Mark tells his girlfriend, Elizabeth, that he loves her several times a day. He appears to be caring and attentive, but beneath the surface lies obsession and violence. He seems sincere when he apologizes for the abuse he inflicts, but Mark's brutality is out of control.
