Was I watching the same movie as everyone else who posted comments here? I LOVED this movie. Ashton proved to be much more of a dramatic actor than his Punk'd persona would have you believe, and Michelle's performance was believable. The storyline drew me in; it was quite compelling. I did NOT expect that ending. The acting was good enough to evoke nearly every emotion in me, and left me wanting more when it was over. I thought it was GREAT!!!
Hi, can you tell me how the movie ends? I missed the last 15 minutes. Thank you.
Very disappinted with Ashton Kutcher because he did not learn sign language.
You missed the whole point of the movie! If Ashton had learned to sign, he would have been able to communicate to Clay that Tom, the suspected killer, had not killed Annie after all. It was that lack of communication that led to Clay's actions at the end of the film.
I was sooooo disappointed in the movie...Personal Effects. This was the dumbest, and saddest movie ever. Plot was crazy, I knew what was going to happen from the beginning. Very disappointed....
I am more than half way through this movie and it is the most stupid thing I have seen . I too thought this would be good because of Michelle and Kathy but I was wrong . I found myself wishing it was over after the first half hour . Such a big disappointment .
Well of course the movie would be lousy....look at the plot description above....planning weddings for needy people ? Oh come on, how useless is that. I did not even finish the movie. I couldn't. I was so sick of it because of all those commercials running every five minutes on Lifetime. Besides, Ashton Kutcher is just too weird...he and this older woman thing seems almost perverted.
A friend and I watched this new movie tonight...Personal Effects. I was anticipating this movie all week because of it's cast, which included one of my favorite actresses, Kathy Bates.

What a disappointment!!! The movie was painful to watch because the dialogue was so monotone. I understand that the subject matter was somewhat disturbing, but the acting was horrible. Who wrote this?

You have a group of actors that could have made this movie so powerful, but it seems as though the writing for this was done without much thought. It was like watching paint dry...very slow and painful.

What a disappointment!! Am I along in my opinion? Did I miss something that one of you might have seen?

Love to hear from someone.....
Oh, I liked it....
Yes...will I be able to watch this on my computer? Tonight?
