i love this movie i mean i felt her pain
Hey I feel bad for the odd girl out, she is the perfectly normal one in this movie, however the abnormal one is the kid who picked on her, and thier parents, they think the whole woorld revolves around them, and money can buy everything, wait till their kids start screwing up in college, money can't buy good grades and inside beauty. Odd Girl out was a perfect well balanced teenager, she had good grades and she was truly beautiful inside...
This was a great movie. I know how she felt, the teenage girl in this film. I had so many problems but mine were in college more than High school. All those girls who backstab, gossip and spread **** about you are soo not worth the time of day. i learned that the hard way. but this is a serious problem in schools today, that's why this movie should be shown in schools all over the country. that's why i love lifetime tv movies--educational and they reach you in ways that make you think..good job Lifetime..keep em coming.
I would Love to have this movie because I was in her shoes all my life growing up and went through a lot more then just that movie but can relate to here and hurt my heart how people can be so mean like that!
I would LOVE to own this particular movie so that I could show it to my daughter! I too was in Vanessa's shoes. I could feel her pain! Now, as an adult looking back I should of handled my situation differently. I lived through it! When the same type of situation happened to my daughter I went to the principal, when nothing was done, I changed her schools!
I recorded this movie when it first aired on LMN, back in '05. I literally remember being sad and hurting for Vanessa's character. The bad part about it is that Stacey and her "crew" turned on Vanessa for NO REASON at all! All because that boy was showing interest in her??! Whooo!! BIG DEAL!! What I didn't like is when Vanessa lied and defended Stacy about that paper. I would've just gone ahead and told the truth and then maybe some of that other stuff could have been avoided. But it's sad that junior high/high school has turned into a environment where kids/young adults are being tortured and bullied! KIDS ARE LITERALLY TAKING THEIR LIVES!! "*WORDS DO HURT!*"
I love this movie. Everytime i watch it it makes me think of my life, and how i can relate. Yet again, i love how they would make a movie about whats really going on these days, i mean, this is how girls are really being treated; its not fake.
Does anyone know the artist and title of the song that starts playing at 45m 46s into the movie when Vanessa's mother drops her off at school, and she gets mad and slams the car door? I have been trying to find the song, sounds like hard rock or heavy metal.
dang..i love this movie..ha..!! its so terrific..i just love it so much=D.....i didnt watch the first part..but ughh..i love it even though i watch the middle to the end..its cool..by the way..i didnt like it when vanessa had to do things to avoid pain..thts crazy..but a nice show
At first I thought this would be one of those LM that I love, but it's not! Though I love Alexa Vega, the acting seems cheesy and the whole film just made me mad. The story is a good one to tell, but the movie just didn't appeal to me. I couldn't seem to sympathize with Alexa's character so I wasn't able to get into the film. It was a nice try, but could've been better-made.
I have seen this movie many times. I seen it when I was a sophamore in high school. Sadly, this movie deffinitly shows how teen girls treat each other in high school now days. I know exactly how Vanessa feels in this movie because I have had this kind of harrasment happen to me. All I have to say to any teenager reading this, if anything like this movie ever happens to you, TELL someone!!! Thats the best thing you can do.
well i think that the girls in this movie are not nice at alll i dont like them!!!
Most of that movie was very sad, but it is one of the best movies on here, Im almost at that age and I am very scared about what might happen when I get there. I saw most of it and it was pretty good!

I haven't been a teen for 12 years but I remember what being picked on by c***s was like. Not as bad as Vanessa; but it started when I was in grade school, off and on.
It's good now that with computers these girls can have some proof of what was happening; in the 90's, it was our word against theirs and nothing ever got better or resolved.
I,really like this movie alot!!
This was a very good movie very goooooood lol
ooooo if i was that girl id beat that bitc up who was making fun of me
If you're looking to buy this movie you can buy it at www.bestbuy.com.
This was an outstanding movie! It reminded me of all the snot nosed, bratty kids I went to school with who had to tear somebody down to build themselves up! Going thru teen years is very complicated even without all the abuse they throw at you. That abuse can stick with a person for many years.
this movie is great is their a way that i can downloaded to my computer or is their a dvd out that i can rent at a movie store
