Um.. This would have never happened at my school, I graduated in 2001 with plenty of wiccians and people of all different religions.

This is a very good movie on portraing how high scool is just full of clicks. furtenetly even though my school was just the same there were those few indaviguals that were not in any clicks and liked everyone regardlise how they looked. These type of girls will always be around.

In my personal oppainaon the students that were makimg up the rumers and egzagarted them were the real threat to girls like Bradi and other students. So just cuz she weres black clothes and has blach hair and dark eye liner makes her evil or a saten worshiper??? PLEASE GIVE ME A BRAKE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So I guess thats means that all girls with blonde hear are stupid or all guys that dress nice are gay ext. So if were going to judge people on the way they look in high schools all over the country why not do it as what suceity says we are? Something I hear from co workers all the time is we are all one race HUMAN. We all have souls we all have feelings if u cut us do we not bleed if u punch us do we not bruze? We all my have difernt pesanalities and difernt colers of skin but when it comes down to it we all look pretty much the same on the inside.

For those of us that blame the perants on the why there children turn out we cant. even though the paerents sometimes have to do with the way there offspring turns out weather there nice or bullies not all the perents teach there chldren to ask they way they do in school.

and adults wonder why writers like me and brandy NEVER show anyone our work. because we are afraid of what people will think. how horrible is that?

Schools today are unpredictable with how kids feel and react to assumption and ineuendo its like gossip, the story gets bigger until it gets back to you then its out of porportion, in addition kids are immature bully others who are different in this story the girl portrayed a different avenue for her self she wrote stories did research for her stories and wasnt harming anyone, it was all based on assumptions by the other kids,it escalated to the adults who themselves totally misread the situation and the girl herself stated it when youre not of the same mold different thats what sets you apart from the rest she IS an individual very much misunderstood, i think the entire point of this story is the fact when youre different youre treated different and it is a fight in many ways to maintain being different and sometimes fighting the schools system may be one way to exercise her civil rights for that individuality, and this is a very bright girl who can see so much more than her immature peers , this is supposed to be a free country we need more people to stand up and be heard.

I just watched Not Like Everyone Else. This is an awesome movie Lifetime! I can't say enough! Thank you for telling this story. I'm a teacher and no student should be treated so poorly. While I agree that a certain amount of school safety is important, some administrators can go seriously overboard. We need to trust our teens to make good decisions. If we are doing our jobs as parents and teachers, I believe they eventually will. Children need clear guidelines and room to grow. My two teens usually make wise choices, so I hope this advice helps someone.
