Sydney Foster (15) is sent to spend the summer with her father and his new wife Emma Pierangeli Foster (Melora Hardin) when her volatile behavior finally pushes her mother to the breaking point. While at first Sydney lashes out, feeling abandoned yet again, she unexpectedly finds herself connecting with her new stepmother, who is nervously expecting her first child. It is this relationship with her stepmother, and the birth of the new baby that finally heals the wounds left by her parent's bitter divorce.

In our movie, the character of Emma (Melora Hardin) reads a book called "A Healing Divorce," which advocates using ceremony to transform a divorce into an experience that promotes healing and growth for both parents and children. i would like to see movie again of mom dad and her did not get to see the ending very upset over it please put it on again. and the one with the amish children and the mother sister whom took them due to mother dying. please, thank irene reese.

This movie was awesome! I love Brittany's voice I wish she had a song recorded of what she sang in the movie!

i loved this movie i would love to know how to get the music from the movie i loved it so much it kind reminds me of my step mom because right after my dad and Michelle got together they got pregnant with my lil brother and yea i wasnt happy but now i love them all!!!

I loved this movie. It was so fun to watch. I actually watched it on Sunday and I fell in love with it. I found out that it was on the next day so I taped it. Well I thought I taped it. I tried playing it and It wasn't on there. I was so mad. Does anyone know when it will be on lifetime or on tv next? It would really be appreciated. I can't find it anywhere on dvd so I thought maybe the next time it was on I would tape it for sure. So, if you know when it is on next please reply. Thanks

What a great movie!!! Where can we purchase this movie? I would love the titles of the music used. The song at the funeral was beautiful. I lost my 23 year old son in May and are making a video tribute about him and would love to use that song. Can anyone help me out?

Hi it's me again. I went to Melora Hardin's website and emailed her and she wrote me back saying that she dosen't think it will come out on dvd. Sorry, I wish it would come out on dvd too.

Sorry to hear about your son. You can't purchase it yet. I've looked everywhere. Trust me I really wanted it on dvd too so I looked for like two hours and couldn't find it. Maybe the next time it is on you could tape it. I'm trying to figure out the next time it is on so If I find it I'll let you know. Again sorry for your loss. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.

this movie was awesome. Melora Hardin does a very well job playing the step mom and her kind heart and soft soul is heart-warming. this movie made me tear up a little during the funeral party, but thats how you know a movie is good. two thumbs up for this movie. i think i might just have to go out a buy it now.

It says Nicholas Lea was a star in this movie...I didn't see him once. Paul McGillion played the dad, maybe someone messed up :)
