Rae Ann Carter is afraid to admit it, but she isn’t living the life she dreams about. She secretly wants to pursue her passion for art, and she’s looking for real love. When Rae meets Luke, he seems too good to be true. Smart, handsome, successful, caring and loyal he’s just her type. Rae has been hurt before, and she’s trying to find out if Luke is the real deal or just another guy dishing out empty promises.
Steven Pasquale is best known for his starring role as fireman Sean Garrity on “Rescue Me.” Most recently he starred on Broadway in Neil LaBute’s “Reasons to Be Pretty.” A regular in the theater scene, he created the role of Fabrizio in Adam Guettel and Craig Lucas’ Tony Awardwinning “The Light in the Piazza.” Pasquale also released a solo album in 2009, entitled “Somethin’ Like Love.”
Rae thought Adam was “The One,” but he isn’t ready to settle down. Instead, he tells Rae that he wants to dedicate himself to a lifelong goal photographing frogs. Rae is recovering from the disappointment and heartbreak when Adam unexpectedly comes back into her life, asking for something bigger than just forgiveness.
Bobby Cannavale is well remembered by audiences for his role as Will Truman’s cop boyfriend on the hit sitcom “Will & Grace,” a role that earned him an Emmy Award for Outstanding Guest Actor in a Comedy Series. For film, Cannavale’s credits include “The Other Guys,” the SAG Awardnominated “The Station Agent,” “Paul Blart: Mall Cop,” “Snakes on a Plane,” “Shall We Dance” and “Bone Collector,” among others.
Harry is good-looking, spontaneous, wealthy and a charmer. Harry also has a complicated history with women. He falls hard and fast, and then takes off for another worldly adventure before the relationship gets too serious. Rae isn’t sure if she should trust him, but she can’t help feeling intrigued by his free spirit and extravagant lifestyle.
Enrique Murciano landed his first acting role in “Speed 2: Cruise Control.” His film credits also include “Traffic,” “Black Hawk Down,” “Miss Congeniality 2: Armed and Fabulous,” “How to Go Out on a Date in Queens” and “The Lost City.” For television, Murciano is well known for his role as Danny Taylor in “Without a Trace” and was recently seen on “CSI.” Additional credits include guest spots on “Suddenly Susan,” “The Pretender,” “Star Trek: Enterprise” and “Spyder Games.”
Rae’s mother, Vivienne, wants the best for her daughter. In her opinion, that means a successful husband, but not necessarily a fairy-tale romance. While Rae seeks a relationship deeper than that of her parents, Vivienne lovingly nudges Rae to get married before it’s too late.
Annie Potts is best known for her role as Mary Jo on the hit comedy series “Designing Women.” Her recent television credits include a recurring role on “Law & Order: SVU” and appearances on “Ugly Betty,” “Men in Trees,” “Huff” and “Joan of Arcadia.” Potts also starred in the Lifetime Original Movies “Defending Our Kids: The Julie Posey Story” and “Queen Sized,” and was twice SAG Awardnominated for her starring role on “Any Day Now.”
