Growing up Carlina White yearned for a strong bond with the woman she was led to believe was her biological mother. However, after years of failed attempts to strengthen that bond, Carlina sensed something was terribly wrong. This triggered a personal investigation and the results — life changing. Not only did Carlina unveil that the woman who claimed to be her biological mother, Ann Pettway, lied but also that she was kidnapped as an infant by Pettway from Harlem Hospital in New York.

Carlina’s remarkable story drew national headlines becoming the first known infant abduction from a New York hospital and will now be documented in the Lifetime Original Movie, “Abducted: The Carlina White Story.” The movie stars Aunjanue Ellis ("The Help"), Keke Palmer ("True Jackson", "VP"), and Emmy® Award winner Sherri Shepherd ("30 Rock", "The View") and will air later this year.
