If the trailer isn't enough to get you excited for the highly-anticipated premiere of “Steel Magnolias,” here's a close-up of the star-studded cast! The movie stars Academy Award nominee, Queen Latifah as ‘M’Lynn’, Golden Globe and multiple Emmy-winner Alfre Woodard as ‘Ouiser,’ Tony Award winner Phylicia Rashad as ‘Clairee,’ Grammy winner Jill Scott as ‘Truvy,’ Adepero Oduye as ‘Annelle’ and Condola Rashad as ‘Shelby.’

An adaptation of the esteemed play and 1989 film, this modern-day version chronicles the lives and friendship of a group of women in Louisiana that overcome trials and share triumphs that help bring them closer together.

In this photo, the women are in Truvy’s beauty shop — a safe haven for the tight-knit group to shed tears, share laughs and of course, be glamorous.
