Rosie Perez got her big break when writer/director Spike Lee cast her in his searing, critically acclaimed motion picture “Do the Right Thing,” for which she was also choreographer. Perez’s other film credits include “White Men Can’t Jump,” “Pineapple Express,” “Perdita Durango,” “Human Nature,” “Riding in Cars With Boys” and “The 24 Hour Woman.”

Sofia's cousin, Eva, was like a sister to her, so the news of her suicide is shocking and mysterious. Although Sofia is blind, she is the only one able to find clues about what lead Eva to take her own life . Sofia's journey for the truth will reveal horrifying secrets about their childhood.

Martha Higareda

Mexican movie star Martha Higareda got her start studying dance and theater. Her role in the film “Fuera del cielo” earned her the Mexican Academy Award nomination for Best Supporting Actress. Higareda’s career has been unstoppable, and in 2008 she starred with Keanu Reeves, Hugh Laurie and Forest Whitaker in “Street Kings.” She worked with acclaimed French director Olivier Assayas in “Carlos.” Currently, she can be seen in “Smokin’ Aces 2: Assassins’ Ball,” as well as “Te presento a Laura,” a feature that she wrote and produced.

Hector Delgado's niece, Eva, killed herself without explanation. His beautiful and bright daughter, Sofia, returns home to attend the funeral. Sofia's blindness makes Hector protective of her, but he also trusts her judgment deeply. He is distraught when the alarming truth about Eva is revealed.

Benito Martinez

Ethan was dating Eva before her suicide, and although he loved her, he never knew about her painful secrets. Ethan becomes Sofia's strongest ally in the effort to understand Eva's dark past.

Chad Michael Murray

Chad Michael Murray began his career as a model before breaking into the Hollywood scene. He first caught the industry’s attention in 2003, when he was featured opposite Lindsay Lohan and Jamie Lee Curtis in the blockbuster film “Freaky Friday.” In 2004, Murray was named one of the “Sexiest Men Alive” by People magazine. Murray went on to appear in “One Tree Hill,” "Gilmore Girls," and "Dawson's Creek." Film credits include “A Cinderella Story,” “House of Wax,” and “Home of the Brave,” a film about soldiers returning from the Iraq war, starring Samuel L.

Rafael is mourning the tragic loss of his daughter, Eva. He has a strong personality, but is also a diabetic who is cared for by his loving wife. Rafael admires his niece, Sofia, and is stunned to find her unlocking the secrets of the past when she returns for Eva's funeral.

Yul Vázquez

Yul Vázquez has appeared more than 30 films, including Steven Soderbergh’s two-part epic “Che,” The Take,” “American Gangster,” “Music Within,” “War of the Worlds,” “Bad Boys II,” “Traffic” and “Runaway Bride.” An original member of LAByrinth Theater Company, he has appeared in countless LAB productions, including Stephen Adly Guirgis’ “The Last Days of Judas Iscariot,” directed by Philip Seymour Hoffman.

Christoph Sanders

Christoph Sanders has been a professional actor since he was 11 years old, when he began acting at Flat Rock Playhouse, the state theater of North Carolina. During his time at the theater, he worked on 16 productions. In 2006, Sanders made his first film appearance, in the blockbuster hit “Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby.” Later that same year, he was featured with Dakota Fanning in the controversial film “Hounddog.” Sanders went on to appear in “Legally Blondes” before landing the role of Ned Banks, opposite Jennifer Love Hewitt, in “Ghost Whisperer.”
