Mario Cantone is best known to television audiences as wedding planner Anthony Marantino on HBO’s smash hit “Sex and the City.” An accomplished comedian and stage actor, Cantone made his Broadway debut in the 1995 Tony Awardwinning play “Love! Valour! Compassion!” His comedy credits include appearances on “The Late Show With David Letterman,” “Comedy Central Presents: Mario Cantone” and his critically acclaimed one-man show “Laugh Whore,” which aired on Showtime. Most recently, he appeared on the series “Men in Trees” and starred in the blockbuster film “Sex and the City: The Movie.”
