I watched Homeless to Harvard as a movie project for school. I used to think that nobody had a worst life than me. My brothers and sister always torture me and tell me what to do because I am smallest one in my family. They always got what they wanted and I didn't get what I wanted. I got a new i-pod but my sister uses it 'cause my dad said so.
When I think about and compare our life mine was nothing more than getting scratched and yours is like breaking a bone. Now that I think about it everyone has problems in their life. Some have small problems and some have big problems. What makes people happy and successful is not what kind of life they live? or how rich they are? What really makes people happy and successful is how they came over that problem they faced in their life.
My life would have been miserable if my English teacher hadn't showed us you life story. I would have still not recognized my problem and I would have hated my siblings but now I know that you should be happy for what you have rather than cry for what you don't have. I will try and show the movie to everyone I know so that way they can realise their problems and try to solve them rather than avoid them. I would really like to thanks Mrs. Links for showing me this movie.
Thanks,

Thank you for being brave anough to have the story, and also to re live it so many times so others don't have to.
I would like a copy to show my students. Where can I get one?
What struck me was the compassion, perseverance, the circumstances she found herself in and the combination of obstacles Miss Murray had to overcome. If anyone has information on how to obtain a copy from Lifetime or an authorized distributor, please email me at Jbedard1963@yahoo.com. Any assistance is welcomed on behalf myself and all the students yet to be touched by this remarkable story. Thank you for anything you might be able to share.
