Roberta is an average woman with an average life, with one abnormal facet in her life- her mother, Inez. Lonely and bitter after her own husband left her years ago, Inez feels that Roberta is the only person she has left in the world and sabotages any relationship Roberta tries to have. When Roberta begins dating Larry, Inez realizes she must pull out the big guns to make sure they don't end up together.

I saw this movie tonight and it was great.

I have a question. At the very end, after she visited her mom at the hospital and was walking out, arm-in-arm with a guy (she told her mom it was Larry) but was it? It looked like the guy, Mike, that her mom had beat up? Did anyone notice that? Was it Larry? or Mike?

Okay TerVic. The movie wasn't about fibromyalgia. It was about a obsessive pyscho mother who was a hypochondriac.

The movie was not about fibromyalgia, but it was an insult to people who suffer from fibromyalgia. Comments like, "I think you have seen every doctor in town" or "sometimes I think she exaggerates"... for people who live with this "invisible" disease that is very real to the sufferer, this movie was an insult. Ilived with this dreadful life altering disease for over 10 years before it was finally diagnosed. To tell someone to "get over yourself" is insensitive to say the least.

This movie was awesome I have most of lifetime movies..I record them while watching then pause when commercials are on then record again when there over..So I have them all commercial free..So when nothing else is on I have my own lifetime movie marathon..LOL I been waiting for in a child's name forever hope that comes on soon..But I have most of them including this one.
