i dont understand how this could have gone on this long with not one student or teacher complaint for so many years until this one coach steps up! i know its hard in high school, its that way in pretty much every school, but there is no way in hell that i would ever believe there werent any complaints against this group! they weigh, what, 100-120lbs? im sure there were a few students in that school that could have taken them on...i am not pro-violence, i just have a hard time believing that every student in that school was so scared of these five that they would let them walk all over them. As for the teachers and parents associated in this mess...GROW SOME BALLS! i have a 14yr old daughter and there is no way in hell i would ever allow her to treat another the way they have, she has her moments and she tries to push me, BUT I PUSH BACK! it is assinine that this movie has been made, does anyone actually believe these five have changed their ways? making this movie is another way for them to get attention, they see nothing wrong with what they have done, some of the parents didnt see anything wrong with what their kids have done! as far as punishing the parents, i do agree with that, but what about the kids? punishing only the parents just allows them once again to get away with the **** they have pulled! they all need to be punished, it is a form of child abuse giving a child whatever they want, instead of spending the money making this movie it should have been used to send all the people involved into therapy, and the major players into in-house therapy!

I don't understand why some people can't compose a single sentence correctly. Several people on this site can't spell or use punctuation, and they identify themselves as students or cheerleaders! It's a sad situation when you have kids that represent themselves and their school with such low class and indignity as these "fab five" did. But it's sadder yet when kids can't even spell or compose a sentence. What has happened to our educational system??? Please, use spell check, or ask someone to help you when you write. You make yourself look so ignorant. I just pray that some of you aren't adults with children: "this was one of them movies when mom dont put there foot down and take there place untill a nother person take that one more step and say something why did they do somthing before it happen then the whole thing would have never went down ." All I have to say to that is "HUH"? Some people don't have a complete thought. They go off on tangents. A word of advice, when you type and a word appears to be underlined with red, that generally means that you have a "typo" and you should correct it. The things is, I bet a lot of people are just too lazy. Stop worrying about how you look in a uniform and start worrying about your ability to read and write. You have a future in this world you have to take into regard!

I live in Texas so I remember this very well. It's very sad this has to happen, but it does. I worked in the school system for many years, and it just rips your heart out when you see girls act this way. You try to stop it, but somehow you can never stop all of it. We did all we could to stop this kind of treatment, but it stll goes on. Parents, get involved in your child's school. YOU can make a difference. If parents are not involved and demand their children's rights, they will never be totally safe.

I missed this movie when it was on, and I am so glad it's going to be on December 31st. You can bet that I'm going to watch and tape it. I love Lifetime movies. There is so much variety: true stores, romance, funny, and inspirational. It is so great to have a channel you can see all sorts of movies.

Parents need to step it up! I am a mother and my son is only in elementary but I keep up with him everyday, I talk to teachers, and I stay involved. I try to teach him right from wrong, and before I pound it in his head to be a doctor or something I will pound it in his head to love and respect others, no matter what color, what music they like, how they dress or anything at all. This world's children need to be taught to practice PEACE. And I agree with the other post, these bratty girls only got more attention when all they need is thier cell phone cut off, a butt whoopin, and some church! AMEN!

I watch this movie when it first aired. To be honest this movie should never be made about how spoil these girls were.

It happens a lot more than we are willing to accept. Our high school in the lower Rio Grande Valley has an "Indian SWeetheart" who has over 35 absences and 25 tardies and flunked some of her classes and gotten away with it. Yes the administration and the school board won't do anything about it either. So who runs the show? Obviously the students. This high school has failed to meet AYP for 4 years- one was appealed. but who cares the Indian Sweetheart will do her job.

I'm sorry for the students who may possibly have to deal with the media after the airing of this movie. It is only temporary. The fortunate thing is hopefully there aren't many brats there as before and hopefully the administration is finally doing their job. I can't imagine that happening in our school and kids getting away with that mess. My daughter would be missing teeth if she ever raised her voice at me and disrespected a teacher. Parents need to get control of their kids and stop trying to be their friends.

I think this will put these girls in the spotlight that shouldnt be. Why should they have a movie about them when they are attention craving little girls? Your giving them what they wanted
