Do away with the bridesmaids wearing the same dress. Everyone has different shapes and styles. I say if you want them to be traditional have them wear different dresses and the same color.

throwing rice. it's painfull lol

in my country alll the bride's relatives and some friends stand in line to wish her luck and give her one of 2 things: money, or gold. and she has to waer it if its gold, she ends up wearing a dozen necklaces and bracelets and won
t have enough fingers to wear all the rings she's gonna get, i with we could skip this we don;'t have to show the entire world we're rich it's really pointless

I remember smashing cake as a kid. At my wedding i want to be a total lady and think the messiness should be done away with

the garte tossing can be a little awkward for the parents of the bride and groom I have to admit, but throwing rice..that's a little insane for me

I've actually heard of brides getting rice stuck in their ears or getting hit in the eye...etc...so it's a kind of dangerous tradition

Forget about saving the dress....I say have a trash the dress photo shoot and get the most out of it....do an underwater shoot of a shoot outdoors after the wedding and get some amazing artistic shots that you can't get before the wedding for fear of dirtying the dress

Cake smashing is appropriate for birthdays not for weddings, especially if you've had it professionally applied.

As a child I remember having a handful of rice in my hand and pelting my cousin clear in the face as she exited the church. We still laugh about that unfortunate incident.

Im not a fan of having rice thrown at me, I have a fear of birds lol and having cake smashed in my face is a big no no... And with teh economy the way it has been over the last few years selling the dress that you will wear once makes sense and if you dont need the money donate it to a needy bride to be....I would sure appreciate it if someone donated a dress to me especially being a mom of a special needs child and having been a single mom for almost all of his life times have been hard and Geez is Alaska expensive lol
