Brooke Harris is attacked by an unknown assailant and is hospitalized. A man named Brett shows up at the hospital and says that he is her husband, and the doctors explain to him that Brooke has lost her memory and it could take a while for her to realize who she is. When Brooke returns to her opulent lakefront vacation home, she finds herself in unfamiliar surroundings. Brett is loving and supportive, but slowly he begins to exhibit signs of an explosive temper. She becomes suspicious that he's not being completely honest with her.
