A Dad for Christmas

Nineteen-year-old Matt is stunned; his girlfriend has arranged for a couple to adopt their newborn baby. Unable to stop the adoption from happening but just as unable to imagine giving up his son, Matt spirits the infant away from the hospital. But the father soon ends up in court, where it's up to the judicial system and the child's mother to decide where the newborn's home lies.

i watched this show on december 14 and i was a really great movie me and my mom loves it i wish you could play it again on lifetime.

I just saw the movie " A Dad For Christmas" on December 14th 08' at 11AM on Life Time (Time Warner) and let me tell you. It just touched my heart. (reminds me a bit of my past) Great show. Someone asked about where to buy? Try Ebay.

The concept of father's rights is only recent. I lost my first son to adoption in 1980. I wrote him a novel(memoir) in 2005. I wanted to give him a memory of a lifetime for the lifetime of memories we never shared. Call me what you will...I was a father...

I can't believe I'm the only one here to leave a comment about how horrid a movie this is. Stealing babies from hospitals is okay now? A father DOES have rights and has ways to assert them. No real court would grant sole custody to any parent (male or female) that took a child away from the hospital without Doctor or other parent permission/knowledge. If someone was to really do what was done in this movie, they would be putting the child in SERIOUS harm.

The reason you are the only one that talks bad about a show is because people have more respect unlike you. Remember what they If you don't have anything good to say, don't say anything at all. I absolutely loved this movie

I cryed when I watched it. I know how matt feels. I was in foster care my whole know i am wishing I could have a life. And am only 18. Its the best movie I think.

I too missed the ending last night, but searched the schedule and found it is airing again at 7 p.m. EST on Dec. 15th. It was a great movie if you missed it the first go round.
