I HAVE NEVER SEEN THIS MOVIE BUT MY MOM SAYS IT'S A VERY GOOD MOVIE. I WOULD LOVE TO SEE THIS ON LIFETIMES PICK-A-FLICK FRIDAYS.

I just saw this movie on the encore channel. This is a great movie. She did what she had to do to escape from him. The police didn't help her, no one tried to help her get out. His mother was a crazy person herself. I felt bad for the kids.But a very good movie. Farrah did a good job in this movie.

Francine married very young and didn't have a clue to her husband's true nature. She simply thought that once she tied the knot that she was suppose to be married for life and getting beaten by her husband was the price she had to pay to be his wife. Francine's family and her husband's family was of no help to her. In fact, her husband's family basically encouraged the abuse by manipulating her and making her feel guilty. She finally snapped after many years of enduring her husband's relentless abuse of her and her kids and didn't see a way out of it because the legal system were not of any help either so she took care of this herself by making him pay.

I have to agree from what he put her through for all those years.no one would offer to help her.She had to do it.so she would'nt get beat by him anymore

Its not the best copy..but the whole movie is IN TACT in parts. Just thought you'd like to know. Enjoy! :)
P.S.....That sonofa**** deserved WORSE than what he got, if you ask me....the book was much more vivid and he really put her through HELL...until she finally sent HIM there.

I WOULD LOVE TO SEE THIS MOVIE AGAIN BECAUSE IT RELATES SO MUCH TO OWN LIFE BUT I WAS SAVED FROM GOING TO THE EXTREME. PLEASE SHOW THIS MOVIE AGAIN. SO THAT I CAN SEE JUST HOW FORTUNATE I AM AND HOW BLESSED I HAVE BEEN. THANK YOU.
