Celebrated actress Holly Hunter was most recently seen in the critically acclaimed and Emmy nominated Sundance Channel miniseries “Top of the Lake,” written and directed by Academy Award winner Jane Campion and co-director Garth Davis. Hunter starred in “The Piano,” which won her an Academy Award for Best Actress in a Leading Role, and a Golden Globe for Best Performance by an Actress in a Motion Picture – Drama category. She has also been nominated for three Oscars for her roles in “Broadcast News,” “The Firm,” and “Thirteen.” She won two Emmy Awards for her work in the original movies “Roe vs. Wade” and “The Positively True Adventures of the Alleged Texas Cheerleader-Murdering Mom,” while receiving four additional Emmy nominations for “Harlan County War,” “The Things You Can Tell Just by Looking at Her,” “When Billie Beat Bobby,” and most recently, “Saving Grace.” Hunter also earned six additional Golden Globe nods for her film and television work. Later this year, Hunter will be seen in the comedy “Paradise,” written and directed by Diablo Cody. She will star opposite Julianne Hough, Russel Brand, Nick Offerman and Octavia Spencer.
Doting and supportive mother, Emma Parker always wanted the dreams of her daughter Bonnie to come true.
