Katy McIntosh adores her four year-old twins Josh and Sara, and her husband, Bob. Her life is turned upside down in an instant when Bob is brutally killed by a teenager at their neighbor's house. Despite her devastation, Katy is focused on finding the killer and revealing the truth about the events that lead to Bob’s death. When people in the community, including friends, try to persuade her to drop the case, she does not falter. And when the killer is brought to justice, Katy does something that no one expected.
Kim Raver currently stars in ABC’s hit drama “Grey’s Anatomy” as Dr. Teddy Altman. For three seasons, she also starred as Audrey Raines opposite Kiefer Sutherland, receiving Emmy and SAG Award nominations for her work on the Emmy and Golden Globe Awardwinning drama “24.” Raver also starred as Nico Reilly on NBC’s “Lipstick Jungle,” from creator Candice Bushnell. She endeared herself to critics and viewers during the five years she starred as paramedic “Kim Zambrano” in the NBC series “Third Watch.”
Detective Paul Jackson is assigned to the case of Bob McIntosh's murder. The trouble is that none of the witnesses will give him any leads, and the parents are encouraging the teenagers to keep silent. The whole town seems to be fighting against his efforts to find the person responsible for Bob's death, but the Detective is determined to uncover the facts and close the case.
Greg Grunberg is best known for his roles as police detective Matt Parkman in the award-winning series “Heroes,” Eric Weiss on “Alias” and Sean on “Felicity.” He will be starring in NBC’s new one-hour love anthology series “Love Bites,” which will premiere midseason. Grunberg has appeared in multiple-episode arcs on “NYPD Blue” and has guest-starred on shows such as “House” and “Monk.”
Ryan Aldridge is a typical teenager in many ways. He has a girlfriend and friends, but he’s also targeted by bullies. Ryan attends the New Year’s Eve party at Shane Batesman’s house along with his girlfriend, Jordan. After witnessing Bob’s murder, Ryan isolates himself from those closest to him. He says he was too drunk to remember the details of the night, but the trauma of what happened has a lasting effect on Ryan.
Charlie McDermott is a talented young actor who currently stars alongside Patricia Heaton as her son Axl in the ABC hit comedy “The Middle.” McDermott began his career with M. Night Shyamalan’s “The Village,” where he starred alongside Joaquin Phoenix, Adrien Brody, William Hurt and Sigourney Weaver. More recently, he starred in “Hot Tub Time Machine” with Chevy Chase, John Cusack, Rob Corddry and Craig Robinson. He also starred in “Frozen River,” which earned him a Spirit Award nomination for Best Supporting Actor.
Bob is a doting father and husband, as well as a loyal friend. He is athletic and fun-loving. When Bob decides to go over to his neighbor's house to quiet a raucous high school party, he is tragically killed at the hands of the teenagers.
David Cubitt has quickly become a familiar face to audiences, turning out critically acclaimed performances on both the big and small screens. He currently stars opposite Patricia Arquette in the CBS series “Medium.” Prior to “Medium,” Cubitt starred with Tom Sizemore in the CBS/Michael Mann series “Robbery Homicide Division.”
Jordan is not only a witness who was in the room when Bob died, but she is also Ryan Aldridge's girlfriend. They were at the party together, along with her friend Angie, and Angie's boyfriend. After that night, Ryan tells Jordan that she is obsessing over the incident, and their relationship subsequently falls apart. When the killer confesses, Jordan is stunned along with the rest of the town.
Haley Ramm began her acting career in independent films and shorts at the young age of nine. She later landed roles in feature films and television. Most recently, Ramm starred as “Kallea” in "The Wheeler Boys," and as "Mary Wheeler" in “Skateland,” a coming-of-age drama that premiered at the 2010 Sundance Film Festival.
