The Amanda Knox True Crime Photo Gallery
On November 2, 2007, the body of British student Meredith Kercher, age 21, was found in an apartment she shared with American student Amanda Knox, then age 20, in Perugia, Italy. A few days later, Knox was arrested, along with two others. In 2009, Knox was convicted of murder by a jury and sentenced to 26 years in jail. Earlier this year, Amanda Knox was back in an Italian court for her appeal. Now, two independent experts have 90 days to review DNA evidence used to convict her in the original trial.
