When a warden's wife is kidnapped by a desperate prisoner, she is surprised to find out that he has other plans for her than as a hostage. The truth behind her kidnapping comes as a shock, and she finds herself drawn into a love affair with her captor after he explains that it was her life, not his, in imminent danger. Now she must choose whether to remain on the run with the prisoner, or return to her husband and risk her life to clear the prisoner's name.
