After supporting her lawyer hubby for 16 years, Betty Broderick thought she was entitled to the perfect life — especially now that her spouse was super successful. So, when Dan Broderick asked Betty for a divorce so he could marry a much younger woman, Mrs. Broderick was out for blood! She started off with stalking and vandalism and made her way up to murder! (Be sure to watch the sequel to this true story, "Her Final Fury.")

See photos of the real Betty Broderick at her trial, and scenes from the movies based on her story in The Betty Broderick Photo Album.

Betty Broderick Update: In January 2010 Betty Broderick, 62 at the time, was denied parole after a five-hour hearing. The Board of Prison Terms Commissioner told Betty: “You show no significant progress in evolving. You are still back 20 years ago in that same mode. You’ve got to move on.” She will not be eligible for another parole hearing for 15 years, which is the longest possible term.
