FITE, Financial Independence Through Entrepreneurship, is a global effort to empower women worldwide and foster greater financial independence through entrepreneurship. In partnership with Kiva.org, this is the first microlending Web site that solely focuses on women entrepreneurs in the United States and 57 countries around the world. The goal is to fund loans for at least 25,000 women to start or grow a business.
