I Hate My Job!

I been at this job for One year and three months, well they let everyone(20 peeple) go in the office except me. And now I am stuck with a boss that I HATE SO MUCH. He is just the biggest a** kisser ever. He always acts like he is the "cool boss" but when you don't know it he is talking **** about you to others. He is never "at work" which I don't understand where he is, so I always have to wait for him to come back so I can take lunch which sometimes is like 1 or 2 hours before I go home. I don't know what to do anymore I really want to quit but I can't afford qutting without having another job first. BUT I can't even apply for jobs because I can't take time off to go to interviews WHAT SHOULD I DO???

I just need to vent about my ex-supervisor. I really think she's a butt crack kissin' tool! I decided to quit my job because the place really sucked all around and I waited two months to leave in a way that was very beneficial to the company. So when I give my notice, Princess crackin' sniff tells me I can count on her for a positive recommendation...well I asked her to put that in writing and she back peddeled saying "well I don't know you very well and I think recommendations should come from people that know you and have worked directly with you" WTF?! Your my supervision! Who the heck is supposed to write the recommendation...my mother? It's not like I was asking for a kidney! Just a few words on a piece of paper that indicate wheather or not I did my job satisfactoraly. What a butt-munch! AHHHHH!

Sweet_Love, 11 years ago when I first started my job I too disliked my boss, but loved the job. I out lasted several of my bosses and worked my way up through several company overhauls. Now, I find my self unemployed, since I was part of the most recent company overhaul. I was replaced by two workers for the same pay. Sucks to be me, but hang in there and gain the experience necessary to move up and onward before leaving for greener pastures. Good Luck!

I can understand with hating a job! I got into the medical field to help people. Everything is about what the higher ups want. And don't even let me get started on that because we all know they are the biggest dumba**es of them all. They sit in their offices and don't have a clue on how the floor works. Always to many chiefs and not enough indians. Also I never worked at a place that is territorial. It's like everyone walks around spraying the place marking their spot. I just don't know anymore.

Quitting a job, for whatever reason, holds different weight for every individual. It really depends on your personal situation. If you can afford it, quit and then look for another job. However, if you cannot afford to quit, thereby cutting off your financial flow, look for another job first. This road is certainly tougher (it is exhausting looking for a job while maintaining full-time employment), but it is well worth it in the end. The only obvious point, in my mind, is this: if you truly hate your job, your life is unnecessarily miserable because of it. So, "pull up your boot straps" and start looking for happiness.

I have a job to. I like the job, but it is the boss that I hate. He doesn't like me and he exspects me to quit, but I am not. So it has been a while and it has been getting worse and worse. Do you think I should I should quit or not?
