  • Krylon Stained Glass Sheer Color in blue

  • 5 feet of black 18-gauge craft wire
  • Decorative glass beads
  • Beacon Quick Grip Adhesive
  • 1 yard of Wrights "Fiesta" Bead Fringe
  • Votive candle
  • Glass marble gems

Instructions:

1. Wrap masking tape and paper around the jar, leaving the center section exposed. Punch 18 to 20 stars out of masking paper. Spray one side of the stars with Krylon Easy-Tack and apply stars to the exposed section of the jar. Spray with yellow Krylon Stained Glass Sheer Color according to manufacturer's instructions. Allow to dry.

2. Remove masking tape and paper from the jar. With blue Krylon Stained Glass Sheer Color, spray both the top and bottom sections of the jar. Slightly overlap yellow section to create a green tint. Allow to dry.

3. Outline the stars with the Krylon Silver Leafing Pen.

4. Find the center point of the wire. Wrap 18 inches of wire on either side around a pencil. Thread beads onto the curled sections, leaving 2 to 3 inches of space between beads. To secure beads in place, apply a dot of Beacon Quick Grip to each end of each bead. Allow to dry.

5. Create a jar hanger by wrapping the uncurled sections of wire around the threads of the jar mouth. Twist tightly to secure. Note: The hanger should arch approximately 12 inches up and over the top of the jar.

6. Wrap bead fringe around the jar threads, allowing ends to dangle.

7. Place the votive candle in the jar. For a decorative touch, surround the candle with glass marble gems.

(Note: Never leave a burning candle unattended. Consider replacing the votive candle with a battery-operated light to reduce fire hazard.)
