Flu Fighter #1: Red Bell Pepper

Gram for gram, red bell peppers have twice as much immune-enhancing vitamin C as an orange. Vitamin C is an essential weapon in your flu-fighting food arsenal — it can decrease the duration of a cold by 80 percent and the severity of symptoms like sniffles and cough. Eat red bell peppers chopped up in omelets or on sandwiches. Or, for a quick spaghetti sauce, saute chopped red bell peppers, garlic and olive oil until tender. Puree and drizzle over your favorite whole-wheat pasta.

How well protected are you against the common cold and flu? Even if you've had a flu jab, you need to wash your hands religiously and take vitamin C for extra insurance. You may even want to try the herb echinacea when you first start feeling grotty.

Okay. So minus the oysters and the yogurt, I am all for fighting the flu with these foods. I love sweet potatoes and peppers. And soup? I could have soup everyday and never get sick of it. There are so many different kinds, and most of them are super delicious. As for the nuts on the list . . .I could take them or leave them. The Green Tea though is a must have. In addition to my colloidal minerals, I always end my day with a nice warm cup of the flu fighting stuff. Oh, and thanks so much for the info. It's the middle of flu season here, so I will take all of the help I can get.

Health is very important now. There is a famous proverb “Health is above wealth”. Nobody would deny the importance of its meaning. Some factors that can cause wrinkles: Sun’s UV rays - Too much exposure to the sun can cause wrinkles and sun spots. Smoking - Smoking has a negative effect on the skin. It affects its ability to repair its self from damage. Stress - Stess can affect the well being of a person. This is exactly why it is so important to only choose collagen creams that are made with all natural and organic ingredients. Good creams make face healthy. Reality is, it is indeed a part of everyone’s life. We will all age. Just because aging if part of the natural order of things does not mean we must accept what the years (and exposure to the environment) have done to us. You can dwell on different ideas about it, which I may not know but as much as possible, I would want to continue maintaining a young image.

First of all thanks a lot for the great news indeed. I think that all people should read this informative and useful post about flu fighting food. Nowadays swine flu or stomach bug have become so dangerous for our health so we all need to do everything which would help us to protect our health. I think that all people know that more and more people are dying from swine flu. Personally I always try to eat such food like peppers and to avoid public places. I hope that other people do the same. Thanks a lot one more time for the useful entry. Keep up publishing those great posts in the future.
