Meet Rupert, the Miracle Fawn

By GigglerificGal Thu., Oct. 2, 2008 , 12:36 pm EDT

Tiny Rupert was born three weeks early after his mom was hit by a car. Unfortunately, vets were unable to save her, but they did perform a Caesarean section to save little Rupert.

Only six inches tall when he was born, Rupert the muntjac fawn has been nursed to health by staffers at Tiggywinkles Wildlife Hospital in England. He's still being kept in an incubator most of the time, and he just opened his eyes for the first time!

I wanted all to know I did contact them and was told that Les is the photographer and Jeff is his "agent".I was always told here in the USA that if someone puts their name on anything of the work you have done ,its infringement and copyright laws that step in.Guess its okay in other countries..how sad truthfully.
Sad to say "Rupert" did not make it:-(. I also wanted you all to know that this story is a bit wrong! Jeff Moore did NOT take these pictures and should NOT get credit for doing so.Here is the facts:

You can email them at: mail@sttiggywinkles.org.uk
I think it is just wrong that someone would try to take credit for work of another and to try and take credit for it is beyond me!UGH! I'll just call him a THIEF!GRRRRRR!! I think we all need to let the readers know this.
What a beautiful fawn!! Sad story though I hope he's okay without his mommy!!
It's a touching story and an INCREDIBLY cute little fawn. But Tiggywinkles? Really? ;-)
So cute and and such a sad story.
Mmmmm little rupert looks soooo tender! LET'S EAT!
Truly God's creation
Beautiful baby deer, how very sad that he passed away.
I had a C-section with twins people said they looked like ET (they where all skin and bones) just like tiny Rupert
What a wonderful story and a strong little fawn! How adorable!!
