Beloved "Golden Girl" Bea Arthur provided plenty of laughs over the years to sitcom, Broadway and movie fans of all ages. On April 25, 2009, Bea passed away at the age of 86 after a brave battle with cancer. Here, we remember and celebrate all that she achieved both on camera and off during her illustrious career. Although she's most famous for her television roles (especially as Dorothy in "The Golden Girls"), Bea began her acting career onstage in productions like the musical "Threepenny Opera" and the original Broadway premiere of "Fiddler on the Roof," in which she played Yente the Matchmaker.
