1. Spray away grease. If you need to transform unwashed hair into a fresh new do, just spray a light hold hairspray all-over then brush through or blow-out. The alcohol content in the product will help lift your roots and reduce any oily residue.

2. Use Vaseline to remove eye makeup. Use a small amount of Vaseline with a cotton pad to easily wipe-off eye makeup in a flash. The petroleum jelly will leave your skin feeling supple, and won’t sting your eyes.

3. Powder your roots. When a trip to the salon isn’t in your cards, but a major event is, just powder your roots with an eye shadow in the shade closest to your colored hair. This will help blend the two tones, so your regrowth will be less visible. Goodbye hair-scare!

4. Zap zits with the hangover duo. Aspirin and Visine not only camouflage the effects of a good night out, they’re also highly effective spot removers. Before bed, crush a tablet of aspirin with a little water and apply the mixture directly onto the blemishes, then use Visine during the day to reduce redness until your skin heals.

5. Freeze your eyeliner. To avoid a crumbly mess, try placing your eyeliner in the freezer for 10 minutes before using it. The cold will help keep the tip firm and ensure a more precise application.

6. Use EVOO as cuticle cream. Skip the expensive creams, and soak your cuticles in extra-virgin olive oil instead. Rub a small amount of oil onto your dry spots and then allow it to be absorbed for an all-natural alternative that will leave your hands feeling baby soft.

7. Lighten your locks with chamomile tea. Crave sun-kissed highlights? Brew a strong cup of chamomile tea, allow it to cool, and then comb the liquid through your hair. Afterwards, sit under the sun (with SPF of course) instead of a hot salon-style heating lamp.

8. Clean your brushes with face wash. Cleansers formulated for troubled skin are generally anti-bacterial, so they’re a fantastic product to use on your brushes and tools, too.

9. Use your credit card as a guard. If mascara mishaps happen much too often, try using a (clean, sanitized) credit card behind your lash line as a shield. It’ll reduce clumping and help avoid any of those awkward smudges.

10. Boost your body lotion with bronzer. Try adding a dash of powdered or liquid bronzer to your favorite body lotion for a soft, sexy shimmer.

11. Reduce cellulite with coffee. Need to rid of bumps and dimples? Warm a handful of caffeinated coffee grounds, then rub them onto your cellulite-loving zones (pre-shower) to help smooth and firm the skin.

12. Fight frizzy hair with fabric softener sheets. Tame frizzy hair and fly-aways with a sheet of your favorite fabric softener. The conditioning ingredients in the product will calm your hair and give it a nice sheen.

13. Use hemorrhoid cream to reduce puffy eyes. What restricts blood vessels and tissue in one area of the body, seems to do the same for others. Try using Preparation H around your eyes to relieve puffy bags and dark circles — just be sure to keep the cream a safe distance from your lash line to avoid irritation.

14. Whiten your teeth with lip gloss. Use a lip gloss with blue undertones, and you’ll instantly brighten your smile- no strips, tubes, or trays required.

15. Bathe your hair in beer. Give your hair a boost (and a buzz) in body and shine by rinsing it with beer. The (unnoticeable) residue also acts as a natural setting lotion, so your locks will be more manageable as well. No worries, there’s no such thing as a hair hangover.
