When will The Wronged Man be aired again? I missed it in Janurary. Would love to see it.

What about those who are innocent and there is no DNA evidence to fall back on?!  The very fact that the Innocence Project is so backed up speaks very loudly that there are many out there victims of the system.  I don't believe all officials are corrupt, but I have seen first hand some really unbelievable things and know that it exists..."per curiam affirmed" ought to be reexamined...it seems to me that too many times, it is an "easy out' for the judges...no explanation needed...sure I know that it would be costly to re-examine every case, but there are many who don't have attorney's out there to help them and like someone else mentioned...who pays their paychecks?!  They are co-workers... It takes years to learn the law, meanwhile, some lose their chances by being time-barred....merely because they are indigent and "guilty" of be ignorant of the law....BUT GOD sees all and is the vindicator of innocence....nothing can stop Him!  I pray that those who are corrupt turn from their wicked ways and are restored with the Lord AND that those who are innocent - whether imprisoned or the ones putting people in prison are protected by the Lord Jesus.

I WAS AN EXTRA IN THIS MOVIE AND HAD A GREAT TIME DURING FILMING I MISSED THE MOVIE BECAUSE I WAS OUT OF TOWN.  THE ORIGINAL RELEASE WAS FOR NOVEMBER THE SAME TIME AS ANOTHER MOVIE I WAS IN BEN 10 BUT CHANGED SCHEDULE OF IT DOES ANYONE KNOW WHEN IT'S COMING BACK ON?

I liked this movie but it is so sad our justice system is so slow at arriving at justice.  This movie made me cry because Calvin Willis lost his wife, his freedom, probably his kids and all for nothing.  Plus the real rapist was still free all that time!  The injustice of this just sickens me.  I was so glad to find out about The Innocence Project at the end of the movie and am going to contribute to it right now!  I will also write a blog post about it too at www.zemeks.blogspot.com..

Jesus, please help our judicial system!

The movie Wronged was very good, however yet sad because it is a true story. I am a wife of a wrongful convicted man. It has been six (6) yrs. as of 1/20 and the pain never goes away. I am fighting and will never stop until my dear husband walks out of his bondage. It is very important that the public is educated, and realize the stories that are told and televised are not fiction but true. It is just as important to know your rights, and never trust nothing but the truth, the enemy will start rumors that are far from the truth. His purpose is to kill, (your spirit) steal (your love, peace and joy) and destroy (your livelihood)<!--[if gte mso 9]> Normal 0 false false false MicrosoftInternetExplorer4 <![endif]--><!--[if gte mso 9]> <![endif]-->.  Remember  the public is the jury, and the enemy has the platform to reach the jurors though local newspapers and media. One way  to eliminate these type of crimes happening to innocent people is to know what your local law enforncement and district attorney is doing. The reports of these people being christians, they pass out bibles in their spare time is mask (snakes hiding behind sheep clothing).Citizens have more power than they think, it's call the power to vote. Also court appointed attorneys are being paid by the same employer district attorney are paid, the state in which the crime happened. In other words the court appointed attorney and the district attorney are co-workers. It appears the states will not hold law enforncement and district attorneys accountable for their actions, (if it was you our I we would be held accountabl) This evilin the criminal justice system must be exposed. The criminal justice system has become all about advancement of one's career and the money to buy your freedom. The assistant district attorney who prosecuted my spouse on fabricated evidence, (there was no evidence against him) and on plea deals, recently announced he is running for district attorney., the current district attorney is running for NC senate.Again, you have the power to vote.

can you e-mail me when this movie comes out again?i was on the road and missed it.

Can you e-mail when this movie will be on again? I happened to be on the road and missed it. Thanks

Thanks Everyone,

Your words of encouragement and prayers are truly appreciated. I am just so happy that Lifetime was wiliing to enlight their viewers on this topic. There is are no words that can even express the way I feel after viewing the movie; I can say that it was surreal.

This was a great movie.  I thought it was a little sad for the families that had to go through what they went through.  I think that it was evil for the person to lie and take somone away from their family for such a long time.  I hope that he was given back some money for this situation.  I know that it will not replace the time he spent in prison.  Good luck to him and his family.  God bless Janet.

I JUST SEEN THIS MOVIE. I THINK THE MOVIE WAS AGREAT STORY. WHAT I WANT TO KNOW NOW IS, DID THEY EVER FIND THE RIGHT MAN?
I KNOW THE MAN IS LIVING HIS LIFE NOW AND VERY HAPPY SOMEONE HELPED HIM OUT. IF THAT WAS ME AND MY FAMILY I WOULD SUE THE SH.. OUT OF THOSE PEOPLE! ALL SAID AND DONE GREAT MOVIE AND STORY HE NEEDS TO GET PAID BIG BUCKS NOW!

This movie left a great impact on me....I have lived in Shreveport, La my whole life(33 years), and now am ashamed to call it my home!... It astounds me that they have yet to formally apologize to this man they put away for 22 years for NOTHING!...  Not only did Calvin Willis lose that many years of his life, but his mother lost her life with her son, his kids lost their father, and his wife lost her husband!.. None of it should have ever happened..Besides the DNA testing that they had to wait for for many years, they had evidence that excluded him, as in the pair of boxers that were 8 inches too big, and the little girl who said that the man was "hairy"...I'm sure there was more evidence that we didn't get to see...  Yes, Calvin deserves money for the years he lost, but no one can give him back what he truly deserves, HIS LIFE!...The 22 years that he lost!..  You can't pay for that!..The State of Louisiana should be greatly embarrassed and ashamed for having done this to this man!..Thank the Lord for the angel he sent to help Calvin, Prissy....At least there are people in this world who care about doing the right thing!...

As for Calvin, God Bless him!...I guess he couldn't stand the sight of Louisiana anymore either, and moved to California with a new wife...At least he has made a new life for his future!...That's all he can do!...After crying several times during the movie, and my heart going out to him and his family, they will always be in my prayers!..

I pray for the litle girl who this happened to, and hope they finally found justice after freeing Calvin... This sick man was free for all those years, and he deserves greater and higher punishment!...

I pray for all of you and your families who have been wrongfully accused, and hope and pray that you all will get justice!... Just have faith!...

dis is a good movie.

That was a good movie and the man that played in the movie was so awesome and so was miss prissy and thank god for her  and other people that help free him and believing in him and his mother for  sticking by his side from day one and believing in her son when she knew that he did not  do  that and him just being stronge when it was times that he wanted too give up but miss prissy was right there by his side and she didn't give up on him. I love that movie that's going too be my favorite movie of the year for 2010 because alot of case are like that and they don't have people like miss prissy too look into them like she did and thought that he was innocent right before she took on the case so much thank's too miss prissy and to her family and too calvin willis family and my prayer's go out too u and your family and god bless you and take care of yourself . i love that movie it was so great i have watched like three times already but god bless and it's good too see you are out and you take care of yourself.

I love '' The Wrong Man'' it awesome okay.

I ask all those moved by this movie to do your research about The Innocence Project and help them win their.... "OUR" fight to free the innocent. Spread the word, donate when you can. Knowledge is power and power conquers injustice! Vanessa Potkin, Liz, Hui and everyone else in NY, THANK YOU for returning my father to us!

hello, i would love to learn more about the innocent project. would you have more information about them? my brother in law has been falsely imprisoned for 11 years now and i am seeking as much help as possible.

I pray you get justice quickly and no further damage is done.

I want to commend lifetime for airing this movie about Calvin Willis.  I cried throughout this movie as my family knows the pain they endured.  I could visually replace the faces of our family with his as he walked out of that prison.  It is a feeling of euphoria that I pray we will all enjoy one day soon.  My son will begin his 18th year imprisoned for a crime he did not commit this February.  Hopefully, with movies like this it will awaken and enlighten the American people to the injustices that fill our prisons.  My heart is elated for those that have been exonerated and God Bless those that cared enough to make it happen.

I hope that your son gets his case looked on soon or whatever it maybe that is holding him in prison.  It is a shame that the innocent have to spend their entire life in prison before being freed.

My prayer goes out to you and your family.

As someone who completely understands your families pain all my prayers are with you. Please contact the Innocence Project and seek guidance. They are wonderful and swift. They saved my family. Vanessa Potkin, one of the lawyers on my fathers team is an ANGEL!

My name is Georgette. My father Larry Peterson was exonerated by the Innocence Project in NJ after almost 20 years. His story can be looked up under NPR.com or just by google. He was released in Aug 2004

This is the best movie i have seen in along time.I think it is great that he was set free.

It so sad that Mr. Willis had to lose his family and 22 years of his life, just to get a DNA test.  This ridiculous. He and the other men serve 10yrs or better, before anything was done.  It's a money thing, and then these men were not even compensated for the time that was lost, because of a mistake, a terrible one@that. It just not fair, thank God that these men had the strength an family who believe and supported each one of them.

These men need to be paid for the judicial mistake! They are paid for these prisoner, but something needs be done. The movie was so sad, he lost his wife,, who did support him, but a 22 yrs sentence,  she support him, and he had a wonderful mother who never stop believing and the paralegal.  He's in good spirit, but him and the others need to be PAID:)

This was a bolt, for me, I pray that more are helped, to Mr. Willis, I pray God keep you and your family, in his hands, you are a life saver in more ways than one.

We watched this movie last night and it was great! It outright shows how screwed up our judicial system is.

Our brother is a disabled man (Robert) was wrongfully convicted only because his ex girlfriend and her daughtergot mad at himbecause he was trying to protect his family and home. His girlfriend was pregnant and she did something to his baby without him knowing it.  The daughter was dragging men through her window at all hours of the night and his home was broken into by one of them.  He kept questioning his girlfriend about his missing baby. He locked the front window so the daughter could not drag

men in through it. Robert called the police to have them talk to the daughter about her dangerous activities. The mother and the daughter set him up the very next day and had him arrested because the moher thought that her 18 year old daughter was going to be in trouble for having sex with a 15 year old boy that suffered with ADD and the mother was going to have to explain what she did with Robert's baby. They told over 154 discrepancies in testimony to get him convicted and were never prosecuted for aggravated perjury. They also stole everything the man owned under the protection of a protective order that they put on him.

A police officer even testified in Robert's behalf because he did not believe the women but still Robert was convicted by perjurd testimony and absoutely no evidence at all!  The police refuse to investigate Robert's missing baby and a national court show (Cristina's court) ordered us to remove the stuff about Robert's baby from the website.  Did Robert's girlfriend get away with the murder of his child? Why would the police not investigate for Robert what happened to his baby and take DNA samples from where it is expected that she got rid of it?  How did Robert get convicted by a bunch of mixed up stories that kept changing and there was no evidence of anything that happened? Why was the mother allowed to lie in five court apperences and get away with it with immunity? The arresting officer did not want to arrest Robert but why did the DA's office order him to arrest him anyway and bring him in? Robert was arrested wearing a back brace, Coud not hardley walk or stand up. The officer seemed to know what was going on with the two women but it appears that the district attorney's office was desperate for another prosecution.

You can review this whole story since there is a lot more to it on a website called

americaswrongfullyconvicted.  Robert is needing help getting his life back and finding out what happened to his baby.  I hope everyone will look at all of the evidence posted on americaswrongfullyconvicted and sign his petition and leave comments.  Also serch for "Missing baby Doe McClendon" in yahoo or google.

To the person akarosebud change your channel, because you are snowed in does not mean you are being forced to watch Lifetime.

I am pleased with the system in coming up with DNA testing. However it is devastating how many people are accussed of a crime they did not committ, especially black men. Did they ever find out who did committ the crime? Calvin Willis God bless you and your family.  Did your children from your previous marriage come with you to California? God bless your grandmother and I know how she feels as I am raiing four grandson's all from the same mother. This movie was very interesting and raise a lot of questions about our system and the people in it.  I do not question GOD at all. Things happen for a reason so they say.  Good luck and God bless you.

Thank you jesus for people like ms. prissy this was a very good movie i cried so much calvin if you read this i'm so happy for you be  home with your family and sorry you had to spend 22 years lock up this is a shame!! how the law works . iam glad you came from a strong family your grandmother (mother) is a blessing from god she never gave up on you  i know you can't get 22 years back but god is good and he has a plan for you keep up the good work calvin and always put god god first .

I have waited excitedly on "Wronged Man" since I saw the first preview, I enjoyed every single preview that aired. I do not believe that Lifetime over announced this movie GREAT JOB. I also shed many tears through this movie. It is good to know that there are people out there like Prissy and the Innocence Progect. For Calvin I know that God will get  justice for him and his family. As for the judge that convicted Calvin I pray that he is giving more thought to how he decides on peoples lives. It is sad to see that there are judges out there who once are shown that they have convicted an innocent person are more worried about how they will look instead of how a family has been destroyed. Anyone in this same situation my prayers and heart goes out to you, never give up on faith allow God to lead you through your battle.

This movie was an inspiration for me, I am trying to get my husband out of prison for two murders he didnt committ. I cried so much when I saw this movie. It reminded me so much of my own pain, his pain, my childrens pain. We just got  married last year and hes been incarcerated for 14, weve known each other for 2 years and this man has a heart of gold, he doesnt deserve this no one does. Wer newlyweds and we thought he would have been granted some post conviction hearing relief in 09, didnt happen. So here we are,  appeal after appeal. We will fight all the way to the supreme Court if we have to. I enjoyed the movie, it was very heartwarming, and it makes me realize and understand how much harder we need to fight to get him home. How long does it take for the innonce project to accept an application anyway without DNA? Im interested.

Well if Mr Willis ever get to read this I am so sorry for the 22 years that they let u sit in there. The movie was great and it should open all black mens eyes and its hundreds of moore men that are innocent and sitting in jail. U keep ur faith in the GOD LORD and u had a strong grandmother. I can't understand why ur wife didn't stick ny ur side. I was in a similar sitiuation but I wasn't married. U just keep a strong head and don't fail urself for ur kids sake. U know the system is made for "'BLACK MEN TO FAIL" and right now they are still falling to the f*^$ up system." KEEP UR HEAD UP". GO PRISSY

Interesting film.  I believe the actors did a good job portraying the characters.  The music should compliment a film rather than overwhelm the dialogue, 'though.

i just watched a wronged man... after seeing the previews for it for a week. i am glad that i watched. it was very good movie, and the guy that played calvin did a great job as for the woman that played prissy. i cried like 3 times during that movie. my friend is in prison for somthing like that. and he will be there until his sentence is up. and he didnt do it. so to yall that think it wasnt a good movie yall are wrong. and all i have to say to those that have loved ones in the same boat.... hang in there and god will help you!! and to the real calvin just in case you read this welcome home and keep up the good work that you are doing now. to the real prissy lady, you did a great job even if it cost you a lot of headache, you also keep up the good work.

I just watched "Wronged Man" and I have been waiting patiently to see this movie as it is very close to home.  My children ages 20,18,15, and 13 all watched this movie tonight, their father is in prison for raping a 11 year old girl who was his girlfriend's daughter and he has been in prison for 5 years this March.  He has missed our two oldest daughters graduations and the birth of his first grandson.  There was never any DNA evidence, it ended up being his word against hers, she had no marks, bruises, or trauma and her hyman was not broken yet he was found guilty after a hung jury was given an allen charge by the judge for them to come to a verdict.  He is innocent and was sentenced to 28 years for this, his first offense in his life.  We did appeal and were denied after spending $13,000 for the lawyer although he had a court appointed attorney for his original trial.  There is no more money to help him and I wrote to the Innocense Project almost five years ago and they requested information which I sent them but they are so backed up, he probably will end serving out his sentence.  I am so glad this story was aired, people need to see what this does to families and children as well as the person wrongly convicted.  My heart went out to them and I spent most of the two hours shedding tears as I could and do feel the same pain.

Well I enjoyed this movie so much and I am also glad that this man has been freed because it don't make no sense that our african american men have to sit in a jail just because of a witness, I am definitely glad that Dna came in at this time. But, I think that the law should apply to convicts that can't afford to hav a Dna test that the government pays for it. I also think that all evidence should be presented in a case and nothing should be left out. I enjoy both characters in the movie and I am glad that this man Calvin Willis is free and for the man that played him, he was cute hey!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm with you, Sherry. The promos for "The Wronged Man" are averaging 5.3 times per hour - sometimes TWICE in a single three minute break. That's at least 10 times during a regular two-hour LMN movie. I have memorized the entire script - all three versions, including the lyrics from that annoying 'Five for Fighting" song.

This barrage is nearing the level that LMN soaked viewers with during the 10-week promos of  the "Natalee Holloway" movie last fall. Enough already!

I used to like Ormond, but after seeing (unfortunately) the movie "Surveillance", I can't get over the twisted, evil character she played--and I mean major league twisted and evil.  I was surprised she actually agreed to do that film. I would warn people not to see it, but I don't think it was ever really fully released....thank goodness!

I am definitely glad the story is being told, and it will not be swept under the rug.  This is something that could happen to anyone Black, White, Hispanic, Asian & etc.., so please don't minimize the importance of this movie. It could have been your husband, son, brother, or a member of your family.

Wronged Man is not showing on listing for this Sunday here on Long Island, NY.

I have been snowed in for three days and was thrilled to know that I could watch Lifetime for the entire day.  After today I will not watch Lifetime till after Jan. 17, that will be when the wronged man will play.  You have played that commerical for three solid days during almost every break.  I am sick to death of it and my friends that are stuck in feel the same way.  Please slow it down you are losing viewers.  Sherry Handley

you will not be a lost, because you are snowd in does not mean you are forced to watch Lifetime. Change your channel. This is not something unusual for lifetime to do for a new upcoming movie. Do you have a problem with The Wronged Man? If so, maybe you need to watch another channel.

Lifetime ALWAYS does that when a new movie is about to air. Why is it a problem now?

So glad Calvin Willis' story is being made a movie. I'm from Shreveport, Louisiana where this story took place and I can't wait to see it.
