Finally occured to me to check on line to see if this great show was ever coming back.  JUNE!!!  Oh well, I know it will be worth the wait.  Brooke is my new favorite actress.  I smell an Emmy.  Good luck girl!!

Hi :-) Terri here, just joined.  Actually came to the site looking for info on the show........and was thrilled to hear it is coming back. Such an awesome show, I tel everybody abvout it and make them watch it :-).they r never sorry

I am so thrilled this show is coming back!  We do not have enough "real" life characters and with comedy.  Hurrah for Brooke!  Thank you for showing that big girls can be successful, funny and compassionite.  Eventhough sometimes we shouldn't be. 

I love the show and yes it seems eternal waiting for it! I'm excited for season 2!

I am also curious as to why it will take so long to enjoy  season 2 of Drop Dead Diva.  I never missed an episode and was really impressed with Jane's singing.  Personally, I would like her to chose Tony, simply because he was attracted to her from the beginning.  I liked that about him.  He also seems better suited for her.   I also like Fred.  Don't like this he's here now, gone, then back again.  Let's keep him.  Jane needs him.   

This is the best tv show I have seen in years.  I never missed an episode.  Brooke Elliot is awesome, I can't take my eyes off her, she is so talented  and bright!   The other characters are also wonderful, especially Margaret Cho, Fred and Stacy.  They have great story lines and I'm so glad to know that DDD is coming back in June, I hope it will continue for years.  Thanks for bringing us a great hour of entertainment.

I love Drop dead diva! Why do we have to wait sooo long for it to come back?! Also, please bring back Fred! His character is important. Someone needs to be there to help Jane/Deb remember jane's life.

I asolutley love this show it was a blast to watch but i think its rediculous to wait this long for it to come back by the time it comes back i may loose interest ive already found new shows to watch sorry lifetime

I am from Brazil so I am always behind in the story as the episodes take some time to arrive in here LOL Well, I like the show too, and love to see a beautiful large size actress being the protagonist! And Tony is very cute too!!!! I wish I could find a Tony myself here in Rio LOL Maybe I need to go to the Us more often.... LOL

Can't wait for DDD to come back but do we have to wait till summer???

Absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE this program.  Happened upon it  last summer and watched every episode.  Finally decided to search internet to find out when (IF) it was coming back - so glad to find out it is BUT very disappointed to learn not until SUMMER!  What are they thinking??? Bring this back sooner!  My 11 yr old daughter and I love to watch this program.  LOVE Brooke - great voice, great actress!  As everyone else has already commented - GREAT CAST ALL AROUND!  And yes bring Fred back!

This show is my weekend getaway from all the stresses of reality. Brooke is the best actress and i would give anything to meet her. As cheesy as it may sound she is my idol. I cant wait until season 2 comes out. I want season 1 on dvd because i can watch those episodes over and over again. Best show in decades.

It's too funny...I watch Star Trek...and Stargate...love my sci-fi shows....but I love this show too.  I count it as one of my favorites.  lol I don't tell my male friends.... we ocasionally play football on the weekends...don't think they would even know the show existed...might think I am gay. 

Brooke is a very intelligent woman and a great actress.  She is by far the most woman on that show and has a beautiful body as well.  She doesn't need to loose weight.

I get caught up in the drama and the comedy...thank God I have on demand....can't stand the commercials so I watch it Monday with no commercials.  So many times I wish I could have held her when I saw her so close to tears....yes I know it is just a show...but that is the feeling it invoked in me.  She would be a lovely wife. 

Have to wait till the summer for new episodes?!....that sucks!  But what can you do?!  Oh well!

Hello Lifetime People, My mom and I watch Drop Dead Diva and watch Army Wives when they both are on. We can not wait for both to come back on air. Why does the show Drop Dead Diva have to be summer time of this year? You are bringing Army Wives back on air in April. Why not bring Drop Dead Diva back at the same time? Thank You

Oh Man!  No Season 2 until SUMMER!????  I think this is a bad idea because there will be some who watched Season 1 and liked it a lot, who - by Summer - will have lost interest in it in light of other shows on other networks that will have been running and built up audiences from now until then. This show will be forgotten by many of them.  This is the problem with the cable networks, their seasons are all out of whack and people get tired of waiting around for a show they liked to return.  At least put on reruns until the summer so people don't forget this show.  Waiting until Summer to put Season 2 is not a wise decision.

Drop Dead Diva is my favorite show!!!  I didn't miss an episode of Season 1.  I had to come to mylifetim.com to make sure that a new season would be airing.  I hadn't seen commercials for it and was worried that it wouldn't be coming back.  I totally agree that the summer 2010 season 2 is too long of a wait.  I miss it!!!  Anyway, Brooke Elliot deserves an Emmy nod!  I LOVE her!  LOVE LOVE LOVE her!  Aaaand the rest of the cast as well!  They ALL are fabulous!  Whoever did casting for the show is as much a genius as the writers.

I'm not entirely sure if Brooke Elliott reads any of these comments herself but if she does, I hope she receives this one. Brooke, I've named my dream guitar which is Rickenbacker 330 model "Jane" as a tribute to your character on Drop Dead Diva. You really have brought back the emotion and spirit that T.V. has lacked for so long. You know when your craft is paying off when suddenly you have a fan base that pours in everyday. You really do make a difference and it just makes the world a better place when you smile and put on a great performance on the show. Keep up the wonderful work Brooke and bless your heart for all the hard work and long hours you put into it. I hope the next season has you singing more :) - All the best to you.

I love this show, Brooke Elliot is the best.  One nice thing is that they didn't take the low road and make the "pretty people" total creeps.

SUMMER!!!!   THAT IS A LONG WAIT!!!!   this show is so different from all the others - that is a shame..... 

Y does this show have to come back on in the summer?  Anyway, this is another refreshing show from the usual murder and sexual content.  I love the storyline (even though the previews did it no justice) and I also love Deb!  This is a wonderful show.  Cannot wait for the new season.

I soooo miss Drop Dead Diva and I'm sad that I know I"m going to be off at field camp to finish my geology degree while it starts back up!!!

I love this show, finally something good worth watching! Why is this not scheduled for DVD release? Season 1 should have been ready to release by now, are they not going to put it out there for us to buy or what????

This is my favorite Lifetime show and I can't wait for it to come back! I hate to have to wait so long, but it's worth it!

I am so glad to hear of a new season!  I think all women of size or not should watch this show!  It may sound funny but when I catch myself walking with my shoulders down, feet facing 2 and 10, I think.... is this the way Jane would walk? Heck NO!!  I turn on the 'Jane the Diva Walk' and my attitude & my day instantly turn for the better! Get your walk on ladies!

I absolutely LOVE DDD... One of the main reasons is because Brooke Elliot makes me relate to the character she is playing. Some of the story lines are great too! I do want fred back though!!!! I was watching a movie the other day... and I saw Brooke Elliot as one of those acters that are like in the background and couldn't believe it! I saw Fred too in a movie and was so surprised it took them so long to be Main Stream!

Can't wait untill Drop Dead Diva starts up again why does it have to be so long away :(  :(

I am totally smitten with the show Drop Dead Diva!!!  It's the first show I've been "into" in a long time.  I credit Brooke Elliot for that - she is a brilliant actress!!  What I wouldn't give to meet her someday.  She is truly an inspiration.  Keep up the great work!  I love you guys!!!!  xoxo

I was very excited about this show before it started after watching the previews and knew from the first show that I would be totally addicted to it.  To my surprise, my 9 year old grandson was walking down the hall one night and made a beeline to the living room after hearing DDD on the TV.  He plopped on the couch saying with totally excitement "DROP DEAD DIVA!!! I LOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE THIS SHOW!!!"   I have been waiting for the second season and can't believe it isn't coming back til this summer.  If there is one thing I would love to see happen, that would be to bring Fred back.  All the characters on the show are so perfect and it broke my heart when he was taken off the first time, excited when I saw he was back and broken hearted again when he walked away.

My sister was addicted to this show which lead me to be addicted to it and now we have to wait until summer to see our beloved DDD again? (pull my hair out) I can't believe it!! Don't the ratings speak for themselves? If not what about the comments on this blog? I really wish they could bring this show back sooner!! Drop Dead Diva is the best show ever, I can not believe it's not coming back until this summer! I have been dying waiting for it to come back on the air! Please bring this show back sooner!  Between Army Wives and this show they are the best shows on TV!!  And I feel I can watch this show with my family, so many shows out there now you can't.  This show rocks, please bring back Drop Dead Diva, I dying here!!!

I love Drop Dead Diva!  Since the first show I was hooked.  I love her sense of humor and also that she is a full figured woman, as others have said before me.  I have been watching and waiting for the new season to begin and have just found out tonight that it will not be until June.  I am disappointed that we have to wait so long.  I also hope you are not thinking of canceling this show!  It is actually the only thing on tv I made sure I didn't miss!  I also love it that Jane always wins her cases and that she is protrayed as a very intelligent woman lawyer.  The writers of this show are brillant!
