Anna DeStefano
(our official LTR Southern Belle-a) GuestBlogs Tomorrow
Friday, October 19

Her romance guys are flawed and strong, and her new Atlanta Heroes series brings her trademark Everywoman heroines to one of America's most romantic southern cities.

Anna's always a treat, and she's got a special contest tomorrow just for you LTR Bellas at her swingin site, AnnaWrites.com! Sheesh, does the woman ever love to shop and share her finds with her pals!

What do you love about shopping with your girlfriends? Are you a shop-a-holic? What's that soothing thing you look to hunt, gather and possess when you need a lift?

Anna's new book, "Because of a Boy," is out now from Harlequin (Oct Super Romance/Atlanta Heroes series). The book is very compelling; dynamite, really. You'll find DeStefano's got a rare talent for writing "category" romance that's got heft, even as it entertains and uplifts.

Tomorrow, Anna promises to give us a taste of what she's become famous for here at LTR -- as the day goes on, she'll share with us bits of her upcoming Atlanta Heroes novel (a Work in Progress), June '08's "Remember Me!" You won't want to miss it, if only to say, "I was there while greatness was being created. Plus, Anna usually fronts us a hot scene or two...

I think I must have missed this post... Are they appearing in the wrong order again, or is it me?____ Anyway, I'm not much of a shopper, and if I do shop, I prefer shopping alone so I can move from shop to shop at my own pace. Which is v. slow, as I am v. challenged in the decision-making area.____ I think these days, most of my shopping binges are online, and mostly for books and computer software and stuff... :)

I notice I go in spurts with shopping. I may not shop for awhile, and then I'll shop, shop, shop in one weekend. I don't buy a lot of items, but I buy good quality that will last. I like cute shoes and purses, comfy and stylish clothes, and unique jewelry. And I love to buy books! I have to limit myself becasu my TBR pile is huge!

Another Remember Me excerpt's up on my blog--annadestefano.blogspot.com. Robert Livingston is my WIP hero, and a continuing character from Because of a Boy. Yummy!!!

Stop back by here and let me know what you think, Bellas!!!

I shop when I need to, but finding a good bargain gives me a lift (like the $145 Jones NY cocktail dress I snagged for $25). Lately I've been doing thrift store shopping and finding great stuff for winter -- like a Land's End fleece vest for $5, Old Navy and Gap long-sleeved shirts for $2 and great brand name jeans for $5 a pair. They are perfect for schlepping around the house. ___ HI ANNA!! Can't wait to see you next year at the HOD luncheon. ___ I sat at Anna's table this year and she's just a sweetheart and very popular with our readers. -- Marilyn

Definitely I love to shop for books - can never have enough of those. Clothes too - they have cute stuff at Kohl's or even Victoria's Secret. I love finding cute, comfy outfits. Shoes, not so much. I like having many pairs of sandals in the summertime, but not real big on shoes overall - I'm no Betsy (MJD's hero in the Undead series). I'm a total klutz and they hurt my feet too much - definitely not worth it. And now I find I'm going a little overboard shopping for Halloween - candy, decorations, etc. I am out of control. Save me.

I love to shop. There are not enough shoes in the world for me, I need them all. lol Books, I also love to buy books, but now a days I shop more on amazon.com than on book stores. I visit a bookstore twice a month with my kids, but we always buy kids books. The paperbacks in English here takes a while to arrive, and I'm never patient enough to wait, so amazon.com does the trick.

For me it's bookstores, second-hand bookstores and fleamarkets that are the truly dangerous places. You learn fast where to find a bargain if you live with a budget of a student.

Okay, not that it's going to surprise anyone, but I LURV to shop for purses and bags and totes and lovely things to carry my things in. I know--shocker, right ;o) Shoes are starting to be a thing for me, too, now that I've found some lines that go easy on my "jock" feet. I have to be careful to get a good fit (long and narro footsies with high arches and lots and lots of calluses from tennis and running), but I can't wait to wear my winter boots and all those hip shoes that look so amazing with leggings!!!

Hi!!! Been a while since I commented on the blog Michelle...summer was a bad one for me so I didn't get to visit my blogs like I wanted to...like the new digs. I am not much of a shoe or clothes person really and the only shopping I absolutely love to do and can't do enough is for books. I would much rather buy books than clothes...I am not much of a fashion person...I am way out of style and I probably need a makeover or something...LOL...especially since dressing up to me means putting on clean blue jeans. LOL

ooo, shoooooes...methinks we're gonna see a trend here,no? What is it about shoes? i wore nothing but a pair of mephisto sandals and clogs for like, 3 years. Then, I started traveling for this gig and, wham, I started having to shop for clothes and shoes again. I wouldn't call shopping relaxing for me. But I love bringing home the bag/s and laying out what I bought and kinda just admiring it. But, yeah, pretty girlie shoes can make you feel so good. And they really are making some that are sexy and comfy.________Books, LeeAnn? Shocking! LOL. But you were making me feel good just by describing your book ritual. Sounds really refreshing. Just read that you finished Brockmann. Her books are so exciting! That boat scene was great. I loved the heroine and the tension between her and Ric. And ATTN is really awesome! It's a great holiday buy._____ev, what brand of shoe are you finding you like? How about boots? I'm really jonesin for a pair. Guess it's good you're getting all those hours at the bookstore, but we miss you! :)
