Best Careers For Aquarius

Find out what the best careers are for Aquarius.

Your idea of a perfect career is one that hasn’t been invented yet. That’s because you need to make it up as you go along. You were born under an innovative and forward-thinking sign, and can’t help looking further down the road. This is why you were constantly changing your major in college — or maybe why you skipped college altogether. You’re an independent thinker and you have to find your own way.

You can expect to have many “false” starts, and you need to allow for that, because the only way to figure out what you really want to do in life is to experience for yourself what you don’t want to do. Think of it as trying on different jeans until you find the perfect fit. But all of those crazy jobs — barista, dog walker, dressing up as a giant hot dog to pass out flyers on a street corner — really will add up to something one day. In fact, the wackier, the better. It would be just like an Aquarius to invent an organic coffee maker that’s made to order for hybrid cars, or a chain of spa pet clinics where you and your dog can get your nails done together, or a vegetarian hot dog that’s timed to boost energy levels at 4 pm and helps you lose weight.

But for those of you Aquarians who aren’t so pioneering, there are always the more “traditional” vocations of architecture, engineering and landscape design. Aquarians are always drawing up blueprints (it’s just the way you think), and you like to map everything out. Aquarians are also drawn to modern technology (poll the IT department and see for yourself) as well as corporate culture, city government and politics. Although Aquarius has a reputation for being the rabble-rouser of the zodiac, the truth is you make excellent school principals, managers, supervisors, consultants and politicians. That’s because you naturally think in terms of what will benefit the overall group and not just the squeaky wheel.

Best work habit: You can see the big picture.

Worst work habit: You sometimes get lost in the details.
