Holiday Forecast: A Merry, Cosmic Christmas!
2011 hasn’t been the easiest year, and even December got off to a bumpy start. Fingers crossed, the upcoming weekend will make up for those troubles. Christmas Eve brings a Capricorn new moon — setting the stage for a greeting-card Christmas full of tradition, warmth and stability. Gather ’round the fire (or the space heater), sing carols, make a favorite family recipe. Capricorn is an Earth sign, ruled by serious and traditional Saturn. Start penning those 2012 goals and resolutions early, since new moons give a fertile boost to fresh starts.
Jupiter Retrograde in Taurus (8/30-12/25)
Tap the brakes between now and Christmas Day. Expansive Jupiter, the planet of luck, abundance and enthusiastic action, slows down into retrograde (backward) motion from August 30 through December 25. Translation: Santa Claus IS coming to town … but he's not on the express train. One of the reindeer might be out of commission, too. So, we might need to dial down our appetites and expectations a little. Continue to shoot for the moon, but if you end up with a pocketful of stars, it's all good, too.
Venus and Jupiter Go Direct! Love & Luck Return...For Most
You made it! The last six weeks have been a choppy time for relationships, thanks to love planet Venus’ retrograde (backward) cycle from October 8 through November 18. There were so many celebrity-couple casualties, we lost count (a supportive hug goes to Eva Longoria, whose divorce news just broke a couple of days ago).
