Gemini New (and Blue) Moon: Second Chances

Express yourself! This Tuesday brings a Gemini new moon, the rare second one in a row. (Normally, there's just one new moon per sign each year.) On May 20, we had the first Gemini new moon, which was also a change-making solar eclipse. Gemini rules communication, and this eclipse birthed new friendships, ideas and conversations. We may have received unexpected news that's taken the whole month to process.

Once in a Blue Moon

We’ve all heard the expression “once in a blue moon” used to describe a rare event. In astrology, a blue moon has its own definition. There are 13 full moons in most calendar years.  Since there are 12 months — and 12 zodiac signs that the moon circulates through — this 13th moon is referred to as the blue moon.
