Sagittarius Lunar Eclipse and Full Moon
Yes, you may have gotten a downright nasty email, hurtful feedback or a curt dismissal today. Learn from our mistakes and try to contain your reactions … or channel them into some physical activity. Sagittarius rules the hips and thighs, to go shake your moneymaker on the dance floor, take a power walk or bike ride (we enjoyed a morning class/stress vent at NYC's Soul Cycle spin studio). Hips don't lie, as Shakira said, so let the truth express itself in a more bootylicious way.
Now, let's address all these cannibals and zombie attacks in the news, shall we? People have asked whether the eclipse is fueling all the sudden savage reports of people eating roommates' brains and homeless men's faces. Could be. Sagittarius is the half-human, half-animal — its symbol is the mythic Centaur. The lunar eclipse is all about the exposure of our unconscious "shadow" side — and in Sagittarius, that could be the beast within every man. Truthfully, cannibalism probably goes on a lot more than we know, gruesome and horrifying as that sounds. But the eclipse has brought this out into the open.
The ancients used to fear eclipses — and while we don't like putting this sentiment out there, it was commonly held that people acted "loony" under this "lunar" spell. With two eclipses a couple of weeks apart from each other (the last was May 20), no surprise. Other seekers are linking these scary cannibal acts to 2012's shifting of the global consciousness. As higher vibrations and energies awaken, lower ones reveal themselves, too. As we become closer to the divine, we also remember our more base and primal instincts. But still, here's hoping that it ends here.
