Gemini Full Moon and Total Lunar Eclipse
Express yourself! This weekend, the Gemini full moon is also a total lunar eclipse. That’s sort of like a full moon to the thousandth power, as eclipses are change makers that bring new openings and swift resolutions, often without notice. Since this is a lunar eclipse, it will be a manifestation or ending to a situation that’s been brewing since the Gemini solar eclipse on June 1, 2011. Think back to seeds planted then, because they could come to fruition. If you’ve been unsure of where things are headed, the coming week could bring answers — at last!
Gemini rules communication, so at this lunar eclipse you may have an important conversation that shifts the course of events. Stay tuned for emails, texts, phone calls or social invitations, as there could be exciting news.
Be careful about making rash moves or decisions at this full moon. Eclipses are said to suspend reality, and at a lunar eclipse, the Earth casts a shadow on the Moon (associated with our emotions). This is a time when our “shadow selves” may come out to play. If we choose illumination, we may get a rare and useful glimpse into the ways we sabotage ourselves or block our own progress. However, we can just as easily get confused by the shadow and end up blaming, projecting or feeling disoriented. Let the dust from this eclipse settle for a week or so before you make any irreversible choices or actions.
