End of Saturn Retrograde: One Last Push

By admin Thu., Feb. 21, 2013 ,5:30 am EST

This weekend brings the final days of a long uphill schlep that's been happening for most of the year. Tough Saturn, the zodiac's boot camp instructor, has been retrograde (moving backward) since February 7. Saturn is in Libra, the sign of relationships and cooperation, so getting people to collaborate hasn't been so easy since then. Saturn rules structure, long-term plans, integrity and self-discipline — issues that may have been tough during this cycle. You may have clashed with an authority figure during this time, or felt that rules were unfairly harsh at work.

On Monday, Saturn resumes direct (forward) motion, helping us all work together a whole lot better. While stern, paper-pushing Saturn will still demand that we spell out our agreements in writing or with a clear mutual understanding, relationships should be a lot less one-sided and lopsided. Whoever hasn't been pulling his or her weight should hopefully come around … or you'll lay down the law and quit tolerating it.
