Eclipse Countdown: Preparing for the Solar Eclipse

By admin Thu., Feb. 21, 2013 ,5:30 am EST

The last of this summer’s three eclipses is coming on Friday, and you may already feel the trippy vibes now. July 1 will feature a Cancer solar eclipse, the grand finale in a two-year series on the Cancer/Capricorn axis. These eclipses have shifted both the personal and the professional parts of our lives, and in some cases, have merged the two. More and more people are working from home, hiring virtual assistants, and using cooperative living and child-rearing arrangements.

Solar eclipses suspend reality for a moment. The emotional Moon blocks out the light of the egocentric Sun, giving our instincts and intuition free rein. This one will be in Cancer, ruler of home and family. Over the July Fourth weekend, you might make a fresh start with a relative. There will surely be pregnancy news after the holiday, too. You may need to move or make changes to your living arrangement. Some part of your personal life — or even the entire way you approach it — is due for one more round of changes. Get ready for your heart to be stirred, shaken and awakened.
