Beyonce, Kourtney, Jessica: Who’s Pregnant in 2012?

The economy might be down, but baby making is up! In Chinese astrology, 2012 will be the Year of the Dragon, a time that legends say can bring a lot of important births. It seems some of the celebs out there have been busy preparing. Here’s who will bring little ones into the world next year.

Kourtney Kardashian (Aries)
The eldest Kardashian sister recently announced that she’s expecting baby #2 with Gemini partner Scott Disick. Will it be a brother or a sister for Sagittarius cutie Mason? No idea yet, but Kourtney’s due date is sometime in July. If it’s earlier in the month, the baby will be a Cancer, which is very different than the three current family members’ signs and will introduce a sweeter (but needier) dynamic. If it’s later in July, they’ll have a Leo, which will mean all three Fire signs are represented in the family, and poor Scott (an Air sign) will be outnumbered even more.

Jennifer Garner (Aries)
Jennifer and Leo hubby Ben Affleck will soon bring a little sib home for Sagittarius Violet and Capricorn Seraphina. Jennifer is due around March, which means she could have a Pisces — the first Water sign in this mostly Fire-sign family (Seraphina is the lone Earth sign). But, a little later into the month, and Jennifer will have a fellow Aries in the family … and poor Baby S will be outnumbered by four Fire signs!

Jessica Simpson (Cancer)
Cancer is the sign of the mother, and Jessica Simpson has been talking about kids since her first marriage, to Scorpio Nick Lachey. Now she and fiancé Eric Johnson (listed as either a Virgo or a Libra in different sources) are expecting in the spring. That could be an Aries, a Taurus or a Gemini — and we await a more official due date announcement to weigh in.

Beyoncé (Virgo)
Bey and Jay (a Sagittarius) will have a little Aquarius or a Pisces to coo over in February 2012. An Aquarius could definitely follow in their pop-star footsteps (think Justin Timberlake). But a Pisces might be a little dancer just like Mama.

Hilary Duff (Libra)
Libra singer/actress Hilary Duff will become a first-time parent with Virgo hubby Mike Comrie. They’re expecting a boy in March, who will be either a Pisces or an Aries. A Pisces will be the opposite sign of Mike; an Aries is Hilary’s opposite. It will be interesting to see which of them gets this challenging but perspective-building babe. Opposite parent-child signs can be great for helping that parent grow and see life from a whole new angle.
